      wow thank you so much, I try and keep them all in one plane as it helps me to install the rockwool easier.

    I couldn't tell if those staples had plastic insulation on em,and the receptacle under the sink,was that GFCI,projected?

      Ya the staples are just bare metal. The receptacle under the sink isn't GFCI and it's not hooked up, the wires are capped with wire nuts on the inside. I'm just using it as a temp junction box for now until I hook it up to the driver for the LED

    Those cuts into the bottom of the support beams... Yikes!

      for a 2x10 joist, you can notch up to 1.5 inches deep
