I like to have it so that if i ever need to move the outlet, it can comfortably move in all directions 16 inches, and I like having all the wires in a single plane because it helps me cut the rockwool around them much easier.
You have to for a number of reasons. Mainly, carbon dioxide buildup, but particles, VOCs and other possible pollution are other factors. Say you, threw a party with 15 people, cooked, used the bathroom (2), and painted. All of these conditions need ventilation.
Are the large wire loops and offsets in your circuits up to code? They look awesome. What is your thought behind them, extra just incase?

yea I mean they can't make you use the fan.. but they do make it a code requirement for you to have it in place.
