Clearing a tree and installing fence posts for the new building. Unfortunately, we had to lose the tree for the power line crossing the road. The logs will be cut up and used in the building finishing

Just a word of advice from someone who has 20 years experience. Dig down and cut the roots on the side of the tree opposite of where you want it to fall. That way the roots that remain act as a hinge. When pushing over a tree, put your teeth on the side of the tree so your bucket doesn’t slide off and you have more control side to side. Don’t fully extend your stick and boom, that way you still have some control to push suddenly if needed. Once you have the teeth of the bucket where you want them, track forward to push the tree over. You have far more power using your tracks to push than your stick and boom alone. Nice work!
