On a totally unrelated subject..i am looking at a kx 033-4 with extend a hoe option. Can this machine be fitted with aux boom hydraulics to drive a hydro grapple or a flail mower?? I need to know
Can You use one of these like a Telehandler? You are the first one to show the arm fully extended, This might save on two pieces of equip I was considering purchasing if it does
Is there an optional extra counterweight available for the KX057-5? If there is, where could I see the lifting chart, for the machine with the extra counterweight fitted?
Great machine and nice walk around. I’m bouncing between the 040 and the 057. When I check online I can never seem to find information on the different codes by which the 040 excavators can be purchased. Is there somewhere that lists the differences (and costs) between the: KX 040-4, HG, 4HGA, HGTA, 4G, 4GA, 4A, 4GTA, 4GA? Is Kubota planning on bringing back their 0% finance rate on mini excavators any time soon? Thanks for the great tour!
Thanks James, the HG means no cab, if it is just a G that has a cab, A is an angle blade, T is a tilt blade. No H or G means steel tracks. Pricing varies, I would check with your dealer. Up here in Canada all Kubota construction is at 0% for 48!!
@@btmacfarlane thanks for the quick reply! I am up here in Canada, but I don’t see the 0% on the .ca website when I look at the excavators. Maybe I’ll have to stop in next week when I’ve got a minute! Thanks, again!
Keep in mind there is no such thing as zero percent financing. It’s all worked into the price. Kubota is in the business of making money above all else. This came from a friend of mine who is a kabota dealer.
@@jamesharpur720True…. But with rates going crazy one would still be hard pressed to find financing cheaper than kubota even if you don’t get the cash discount price.
Interesting,....Looking at the bucket to see if telehandling is possible,. I am looking at it his way, so you know, to possibly lift a truss into position or safely access a difficult place with a man to complete a task ( not sure two ) looking at a physics . ....So to speak,...Attach something to lift at the back of the bucket pictured
Lift capacity is 7200lbs stock with Kubota. Bobcat usually measures lift capacity with added counterweights. You can add these to the KX080 to make it lift the same!
I have a Kubota kx057-5. I really like the excavator, better than any other that I have operated. I will not buy another Kubota machine, due to their sorry ass dealers. If you have to get any work done, you will see what I am talking about. I will buy Cat from now on.
Thank you everyone for watching! Remember to subscribe for weekly Kubota content!!
Thanks 👍🏻

How well do these work for clearing out trees and brush?

I suppose you could with some kind of rototilt system. Would be very cool to see that!
Great video. What’s the difference between the kx057s and t.he kx57s ? Thank you. John
They are the same, I know I say it both ways sometimes lol

Think about U48-5?

Is this equivalent to the KX-163-5?
Do you guys have any used equipment? Looking for something in the $45000 range.
How's the supply of the 57-5 looking like in Ontario...if I order one would it take 6 months to receive it
We have lots on order, should have one in a couple of months!
Not bad for $100,000 (USD) + tax lol. Just have to refinance the house
I make $170 USD+ an hour with mine. In life, there are hammers and nails. Choose your destiny.
@@rocketssss6 That's good income. It would be about 2 years to pay it off I'm guessing? About 550-600 hours.
Eh i guess. Cheaper than Cat though
@@rocketssss6 what part of the country are you in, I’m in central California I only charge 105 an hour, I need to raise my rates! Haha
@@rocketssss6 I'm up in Ontario and been charging 100ca here. Your doing good!

Will they be coming out with a kx040-5?
Probably one day, but we haven’t heard anything yet
What is lifting capacity of 080??? Bobcat 88 has like 10,000 I believe the kubota is alot less like 6500 lbs ?? Can u put some fact to this 😊😊

I wanted a Kubota over John Deere but Kubota has raised their prices big time
Not very thorough... never mentioned where the fuel cap is and how to set the filler switch
