  • Rishi Sunak's "Son-In-Law" Moment in India Ruined? | Vantage with Palki Sharma
UK PM Rishi Sunak is betting on cricket, temples and his Indian roots to strike a free trade deal with New Delhi.
But the British media doesn't seem too impressed. They claim Sunak slipped down the pecking order at the G20 scramble.
What explains this assessment? Palki Sharma tells you.

Our religion(Hinduism) teaches us to put our country/land above religion. Rishi Sunak was born in UK, grew up in UK, studied in UK, worked in UK, is now PM of UK. He is following his dharma by putting British interest first. He will not betray the country that gave him everything. That's not what hinduism teaches. We don't expect him to be Indian or do us any favour. Whatever goodwill gesture he is doing towards India it's to get the FTA deal between India-UK. He's doing it for UK's economy & prosperity. PM Modi will follow his dharma & look out for Indian interest.

I want to address the pressing issues that international students like myself are facing in the UK. We are burdened by excessive Immigration Health Surcharge charges, soaring living costs, skyrocketing rents, sky-high utility bills, and overwhelming taxes. It's time to seek accountability and ask the UK Prime Minister, who is responsible for all these challenges we are enduring. We are suffering greatly, and it's crucial to shed light on the hardships faced by international students. Let's come together and make our voices heard, demanding a better and more affordable environment for international students in the UK. Join the conversation and let's speak for the change we deserve!

Why?. Rishi sunak was lucky this time, as his party majority groups resigned in huge numbers, and the opposition is getting stronger and his party is facing issues internally because of the ukraine war support that is bankrupting britain. birmingham declared bankruptcy yesterday(check other news channel) and this is how good rishi sunak leadership is. I dont hate rishi sunak and i dont care about britain. But the chances for Rishi Sunak for another success leadership is very slim.

Adding the African Union which represents all 54 countries that make up the entire African continent is another potential huge infusion of economic stimulation to the global economy. The proposed India middle east Europe rail seaport economic corridor will cement India as a legitimate world power! There were also numerous bilateral deals between various member countries. The highest number of all visas student family etc have been issued to Indians in the U.K. Indians are in every part of the UK. Modi will not take back illegal Indians unless the U.K. Promises more student visas for all the returnees. Visas issued to Indians are well over 250+ thousand this year alone. How many white British people do the Indians employ? Zero. Stop your population growth so that Indians can stay in their wonderful country

@@JohnJaneson2449 I doubt it. Trade with the UK is worth 0.3% of Indian gdp whereas trade with India is worth a mere 0.25% of uk gdp. As things stand India has more to gain than the UK, and it seems to me that in return for opening up UK markets to cheap labour, mass produced cars, pharmaceuticals and textiles, India is prepared to lower a few tariffs on drinks and luxury cars. India produces little in the way of raw materials that the UK needs, nor any manufactured goods it cannot source from allied countries who should be prioritised. Frankly I cannot see any benefit to the UK as a whole for a trade deal with India, only downside for everyone except the scotch whisky industry.
