tungsten plates don't. You can drag them 14 inches under the ground for 250km before they wear out.

You can buy gloves and that with the knuckles in tungsten, jackets and pants with abrasion points in hard plastic or whatever. Yeah about $400 and up. :)

The Busa rider obviously doesnt know how to drive a bike. He should of smoked that supra up to about 150mph. He wasnt in the right gear to begin with. He rolled the throttle on without down shifting to the power band. A decent rider would of smoked the supra all day long.
1986 ninja 600r, 1993 zx7, 1997 cbr1100xx, 2007 gsxr600, 2004 zx10r, 2003 zx11... In that order. I have owned and ridden many bikes in my day. I put over 20k miles in 3 years on my zx7 which I bought my senior year in high school. I went to penguin school at Loudon International Speedway now called New Hampshire motor speedway. I know how to ride a bike and I will show you how DRIVE yours asshole if you are ever in the New England area.

as long as you don't hit anything and just slide, uh yeah riding gear helps big time. In my 26 years of riding experience I've been down 3 times twice not so fast and once on a turn doing 80 thank God I didn't high side but my leathers saved my skin from many months of discomfort.
The difference could be a major road rash and sorry your hand is now a pencil.
Road rash is a very serious injury that can be highly reduced or even prevented with proper gear

every time that supra shifted, he fell back. He did shift pretty fast but even that split second shift costed him several FEET of loss 2 times. A race like this the automatic may have kept him with the bike or even beat it. A race this close sucks to have a stick shift.
To be fair, the Hayabusa is also manual shift. Maybe the Supra just needs a sequential gearbox or conversion.

First race was from a 2nd gear roll for Supra, second race is 3rd gear roll. Big difference is from traction and higher gears where horsepower is useable.
