I have a Mati Hari its been in my care over 20 years, it never really worked right. I checked the 5 voltages you mentioned and 2 of them were at zero. I did order a new board, thanks allot for the great info. I might have questions for you in the near future. I am not new to the home arcade idea, I have 14 total, but am new to the idea of fixing them myself. Great stuff. thanks again Jeff ps every fuse checked good.

Tp2 for me only 192v and supposed to be 230V-240. Boards disconnected but all plugs connected to rectifier

This is so helpful! Thank you! Test points 2 3 4 5 all show correct voltage. Test point one shows zero! I have no feature (controlled) lamps. All GI lamps are fine. Does this mean no logic power to the lamp driver board? If so what is the fix? Bally Paragon.... Thanks in advance! - S

Hello - Just stumbled into owning an excellent condition Mata Hari - Lights up, Score board works and only Flippers work. No relays, dinging or bumper action. Followed your Great Directions testing the 5 power points. All 5 tested around the exact voltages you described. Is there a follow up video of next steps to follow?

So I have to pull out each fuse separately and test them outside the cradle to make sure they have continuity? Just wondering! Thanks!

Help, 1977 Bally Evel Knievel pinball machine, installed two new boards and game was playing great for months. I let it sit for a few weeks and went to play and now there is a red light on next to OVER POWER . . . How do I FIX this issue ?? All the fuses are good and none were blown, lights come on but game does not go to it's self test like it did before, where do I start ??

Look at the board paperwork and find out what the red light is.

just got a nitro ground shaker, all the lamps behind backglass were not working. Because i am a noob, i started testing the fuses on my meter set on voltage. When i got to F4 the fuse blew, i put another 5a fuse in 2 times, both blew. Now dont know what could be wrong. please help!

Did you get it fixed yet If not remove all the bulbs check all the sockets . After removing all the bulbs check for short with a fuse installed if it still blows wires are touching or a bad socket.

WRONGNUMBER, Why do pinball tech say that DC coils & solenoids are FASTER compared to AC coils & AC solenoids that is why pinball games switched from AC to DC coils? Can you explain all the different MPU boards ballys, williams, gottlieb, stein in the 70's pinball games, like what microcontroller chips, RAM chips, EEPROM chips and dipswitch settings to go over each board. Why do pinball games use PIA chips for the driver boards the PIA chip can be deleted and connect all the switches direct to the CPU MPU board.
