About time somebody built aftermarket for a first gen or any old Dodge.. you can get parts for a Chevy or a Ford at Toys r Us and they are out of business more than you can on a dodge and there are a lot of us out here
I've done ls and hemi swaps on these trucks. I've reused the factory trans crossmember in both with little modifications. I'm very interested in your crossmember. Looks like a lot of room for exhaust. I'm liking the headers. These trucks have very narrow frames so headers can be a pain. What would be really nice if you guys would build a ramcharger style fuel tank setup for efi.
@@jasonburress8201 all of the gen3 hemis are the same size as far as just the engine. The difference will be with the front cover the car and trucks are different.
That is SO badly needed, after these plastic tanks get old they're virtually useless. As near as I can tell, there's NO way to repair a crack and if you let it go, you'll have nothing but a big piece of cracked plastic. There are literally HUNDREDS of wanted ads for tanks and no supply. After you've jigged up the tank, the fabrication cost is pretty minimal. I think it would be a small but profitable thing for Holley if they're interested.
That's awesome been thinking of doing a gen 3 swap on my 77 D100 the 340 I got in it is getting up there in the miles and I want to save it since 340's are starting to get hard to come by and Gen 3's are in every bone yard across north America and gives more power and headers is the only way to go on any performance engine
Anything coming out for a manual trans? I have a 78 D100 Custom Utiline with a 4 speed and I would love to put a 5.7/6 speed in the truck. If I can't do that, I'll rebuild the 440 and stay old school.
Have you done a 4x4 yet? I have a 79 Ramcharger 4x4 that currently has a magnum 360/NV4500/dana300. I’d like to do an Eagle 5.7/8HP so my wife can drive it. I see you have the 8HP brackets for the crossmember, will it work with a 4x4 trans/t-case? And will you have a true dual exhaust for the Ramcharger?
would be nice if you could make some replacement upper control arms for that body style, i've looked for 2 years locally and online and cant find any that aren't altered geometry for lowered vehicles or falling apart they're rusted so bad and i have 2 vehicles that need them so instant 2 orders (hint hint).
New stock replacement upper control arms are out there for the D-series trucks. You can get two new uppers WITH ball joints, bushings, cams and bolts from a guy on ebay for $295 + shipping.

Great video.. in process of 64 dodge Utiline frame off restore and hemi 5.7 swap from 04 rumble bee ram..plan to also use the newer 545 auto transmission. Originally was a poly318 with 3 on tree trans..question is will your motor mounts and transmission crossmember work for my application? Thanks ahead..
Most of these options are going to require a customer drive shaft. Good news is most driveshaft shops can make a pretty standard one for about 300 bucks.
Do you guys make any kits to swap a gen 3 Hemi into a 90 W250 extended cab long box 4x4? Thinking of taking the LA TBI 360 out of it next year and swapping a gen 3 hemi.
I haven't messed around with a 4x4 in a while but I'm willing to bet these motor mounts will work no problem. You can use the factory crossmember with little Fabrication.
@@78ramcharger53 advance adapters makes adapters for almost any combo you can dream up. You should be able to use your current setup with little mods. Maybe a different flywheel. will a novak 4500 be able to handle the power? i want to pull the seized 3.9 out of my d150 but keep it a stick because it’s a standard cab short box 93
What is a good manual transmission for this swap? I have a '81 w250 & really want a hemi swap & manual trans for offroading, towing, & highway. Love my 4 speed np435 which would be hilarious with 500hp.
That's awesome! Just yesterday I was thinking about a hemi in a D100 or tradesman van (I have a 73'). How much of this kit do you think would work in a van?
D100 and b100 frames almost the same. The biggest difference is the strut rod location. Trucks are forward the control arm and mount under core support and Van's are rear the control arm that mount a bit past the firewall. All these parts holley is building should work on the vans.
Awesome!! I have been wondering when something like this was going to come out. ALSO do you guys plan on a LS swap kit for this body style of trucks. Awesome work as always guys.
“Uh, uh, uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh” in the first sentence and you leaned in harder the rest. 1:19 is all I was able to bear. I realize y’all are camera shy. You have to get rid of the uh’s. Uh is a symptom of not knowing what to say and your mouth running on anyway.
Finally, mopar’s getting some love from Holley.
Now how about for the W100-150's. gotta have the 4X4!
wanting it for my '81 w250!
Any word on this
The engine brackets work just fine on the 4x4 to I have done it.
I'd like to see transmission controllers for the 8 speed, or a integrated ECU/TCU from Holley to really streamline the process.
Sound German make one for the 8 speed
