Im afraid that after a single bolt from an Astartes weapon the poor hobbit would only be a set of hairy feet! This is great though a little twisted! I especially love the foliage on top of Bag End and the flowers turned out great too!
I would have to agree. At the least, he should have a massive hole in his chest, or no chest at all.
Yeah, that hole's a tad bit small. I think if he'd just left the feet it'd be pretty accurate lol.

Amazing diorama, but this would be more fitting if you used a Chaos Marine. Maybe a World Eater or Black Legion (Sons of Horus) traitor marine
The loyalist Astartes probably be trying to kill Sauron and the ringwraiths since they use orcs and they all appear as warp users or mutants. The Hobbits would probably be seen as Ratlings (which are sanctioned mutants in the Imperium), but any mention or orcs would definitely set off that Marine especially if he was a veteran of the Ullanor Crusade

LOL, the diorama turned out great. The paintjob on the Space Marine would be good for a whole unit of Chaos Marines. Guess that hobbit got more then some Ring Wraiths to deal with.

Khorne ? to much magic in leaders , so no
Slaanesh ? no bumping of fuzzies or ritual sacrifice , So no
Nurgle ? other than Orc birth with some magic ? not really
Tzeentch ? This seems right up his alley . So many twist and turns , Alliances and Betrayals that depending how pieces fell : a totally different outcome

Ironically, 3 days ago I went to a warhammer shop and got some guardsmen and was given a league of votann figure (aka a dwarf) and a lord of the rings figure.

I think the bolt round would have detonated in Bag End after passing right through Mr Baggins. Son of Horus for sure. Love it.

Nice work, Alex. I definitely like how you give the different mix ratios of mineral spirits, or white spirits, to paint volume. That is super helpful. I also like the idea of instead of calling a cab, calling an giant Uber eagle. That’s how you impress your friends when you arrive somewhere. Yes, yes it did. I don't even pay attention in the slightest to the LoTR miniatures. Never have.
Casualties in Warhammer Fantasy is all they're good for IMHO.
Also, I only see two issues here... 1) Blood needs to be shiny, like the "Blood For The Blood God" Technical Paint.
And 2) Something is not on fire. That building would be burning, because it needs to be burned because reasons. Mine is "Let the galaxy burn", but their's is "For the Emperor"

Not entirely convinced there'd be a lot of a hobbit left after being hit with a Space Marine bolter. They are, after all, designed to take out other SM's and hobbits are very small, according to Treebeard.

Would imagine that the space marine would side with Gondor instead or Rohan because they are humans and resemble the Imperium most. Mordor would be a no-no because the Dark Lord would probably be seen as a form of chaos. Plus Sauron has orcs fighting for him which are basically just orks without the k and you know how the space marines feel about xenos.

As odd as it sounds your space marine is actually quite short in this diorama. His head should be just about up to the roof. The Astartes are about 8 feet tall when all armoured up
