Thank you Angela, in one or two of my other videos I remember catching one fish and halfway through the fight another fish grabs the loo and they switch but it’s quite hard to learn to fish on the same Lure
I love seeing fishing spots, you do not have to pick up litter, very nice & thank you, that was a nice set of fish you caught on one go,it is the only fish i eat. I love Cod.
Dearest Mr Andy. Im about to watch this again. This content is so flaming good. On behalf of the entire planet I thank you and your content. Bloody love it banana man!

Hi Andy, did you see my jungle video where I built a shelter and a bed that was pretty cool, also check out this weeks video it’s similar to this one but different I’d be keen to hear what you think of it
@@Andysfishing yes I did and I loved it! It kinda brings the kid out in me watching these videos. I always loved the Robinson Caruso (did i spell that right?) If ever there was an epic Lively Lures endorsement opportunity... lol. Two keeper coral trout from one bank cast... sheesh. Awesome stuff Andy, as always.
Would love some more videos of how to catch fish from land. Not all of us have boats and would love some tips. You’re a good man Andy. I’m only 19 from Brisbane and I’m super envious of the life you live mate. Keep doing your thing. We all appreciate you.

Andy my bro. Just saying how much my self and many appreciate you. Honestly look forward to your videos takes my mind off things. Such a great spot too!! Stay safe much love from cairns
Love the videos Andy - reason I'm following the channel and watching regularly is that I'm reasonably new to the east coast of Australia (Sunshine Coast) and started fishing over a year ago. I found your channel a when starting and have been carefully listening to all the tips and tricks around how fish behave, where to find them and how best to catch them. In addition you provide so much information around the flaura and fauna that makes your channel quite unique compared to others. So in short - love the variety. Anything that comes from remote areas (jungle, boat, kayak) is cool to watch. Your cooking is always good fun (in particular when there is enough light to see the whole process).
This is a top episode Andy. You put a lot of work into this one and it shows. Also, the intro music was much more you (even if it's not what you actually listen to). Cheers dude!
Another great video. I thoroughly enjoyed it as usual. I liked the overnight island aspect of it. Definitely would be something to add to your arsenal of video types. I enjoy the cooking as much as the catching. I like how each episode is a different cooking adventure. No oil no problem, old coconut cream throw that in. All of your videos just show how simple it is to just get out and explore without all the bells and whistles. Glad your doing well. One day your channel may hit the big time, but I think I speak for all 209 thousand of us when I say I appreciate all you do and all the work you put in to make these videos. Cheers Andy!
Thank you, it would be amazing if all 209, 000 watched each new video, but they don't, check out todays video, I think it's a big improvement on this one.
Love the island camping content. You guys are really blessed with lots of islands within close proximity with easy access. Recent subscriber but love the content. Keep it up Andy!

Hi Andy I’ve enjoyed your videos ever since chancing upon them on ch31years ago and this style of clip is up there with the favourites. More boating and kayaking, multiple overnighters perhaps island hopping, exploring...nearly as good as being there oneself. Hope the knees hold up I know the feeling

Very bad weather conditions. But, it's so good to watch such videos, it makes you travel and forget all these difficult situations we are all undergoing. Keep the good job Andy. Thank you David, as I’m sure you’ve heard me say I like to mix things up it keeps the TH-cam experience interesting for me, thank you for your support.

That was really awesome, my wife and I currently live in Kuwait and we really enjoy watching your videos and seeing how beautiful Australia is. Please keep the videos coming.
Love your style and your videos and especially the island overnight camping and cooking vids. I am a keen fisherman and like both land-based and off the boat. You will never please everyone so mix up your island and estuary vids as you like it. But I find the island hopping most enjoyable and each island is different and has someting to offer. All the best and keep them coming!! Cheers Vic.
Awesome video. I like the fact that you share recipes. I'm especially interested in what fish can be used for sashimi aswell as what knots you use. Camping with minimal gear is also very cool. Shows guys like me, who doesn't have a lot of gear, that you dont need all that much to have an amazing experience.
It’s also challenging yourself and when you succeed you feel better about yourself to camping with minimal gear, I will be making a video soon, I think most fish could be used as sushime
Absolutely fantastic Andy! This video has pretty much everything I love in a video. Great fishing of course, plenty of good tips and some things I especially enjoy, which make your shows shine. Those are: exploring your environment, lots of beaut scenery, islands, camping, cooking, good commentary and your quality editing. Tops all the way...loved it mate.
Hi Andy, Another awesome video. Really enjoy the longer duration and the variety with the night shark fishing. This little island style catch and cook is a real winner. Keep up the great work.
2 coral trout in one catch.....AMAZING! The balloon idea for a float was brilliant! And catching the black tip even better! That island is my idea of paradise i.e. being alone with nature. That little lizard you rescued looked like a 'common lizard' we get here in the UK, if you move slowly they don't feel that you're a threat and let you pick them up, really nice of you to help the little guy out. Great bit of fishing at the end Definitely do more island adventures with the hootchie Andy as it looks like a brilliant adventure and that is what is so appealing to your channel. Thumbs up Paul
@@Andysfishing when dropping a jig it is a good idea to run the line through you fingers so the jig falls straight down. It will make it sink straighter in current
catching coral trout so close to shore from boat or island never gets old,. I used to spend a fortune going out wide,.... here you are catching them in a foot of water so good,.... more please.
Another great Video Andy. I really do like the rawness type videos. I would definitely enjoy other Small Island Videos from you. Real life challenges are fantastic. Nothing like living on the edge. You know, getting wet, finding sleeping quarters, living the hard life getting some food, your little surprise fishing tackle equipment (glowing balloons etc. Great stuff Mate. Catch you on your next expedition and adventure.
I will definitely do this sort of thing again I’m even thinking of a couple of places I can walk to Budget hi Tiede there Island, that should be very interesting to
Such a cool video! Last time I went fishing was 7 years ago when my brother still lived in the same city. Watching you makes me want to experience fishing as an adult now!
You are very creative and crafty....a lighted balloon to catch a shark! I was worried that the balloon would be popped by the rocks, but it worked! Who would have thought one throw catching 2 fish...unheard of and unbelievable, maybe one for the books! Love how you make such a small island very interesting! I am so eager to watch your videos as you are not the typical fisherman! The element of surprise is a great talent you possess, which makes your videos top notch! Thank you for sharing your world with your fans. Wishing you the best in the future.
Thank you Jennie, I appreciate your comments. This is how I see the world reflected in my videos, even small things are interesting. And the balloon worked so great, you should see it again. I think I will do more tiny island videos.
Andy, I love your videos. I look forward to your videos every week. The longer the videos the better. I even like your camp fire stories. You are a fantastic chef as well. Keep up the good work.
I have to say it's the variety that keeps me entertained. But I'm a fan of the overnighters be they in the jungle on an island. By kayak, boat or trekking. Great work appreciate the effort.
This type of video along with the tackle club challenge chasing barra and jacks in the creeks are definitely more enjoyable than some of the recent videos. I had swapped over to Rokkits videos because he does these types all the time. Love his hoochy setup also and good protection from snakes and mozzie in comparison. Keep it up mate.
Andy, I'm a bit behind, but you're a legend and an absolute gem of a man. I prefer the longest vids, the longer the better, with multiple days camping and catch and cook. Jungle ones are good, but island even better! Cheers!
Hey Andy, great episode! The island hopping is very interesting and I also enjoy seeing the camp set-up, cooking and the lure packs you get. It may all seem normal to you, but to many viewers your adventures are incredible. Keep it coming!
Love your videos Andy, you are so lucky to be able to explore the beautiful islands, eat what you catch and also respect nature. that's my sort of heaven, keep up the sterling work. More videos please I just enjoy whatever topic you choose because here in the UK we don't have anything like it and you sure do know your 'stuff'!!
Small island fishing is very enjoyable to watch. Was one of my favourite videos of yours. A third cooking part (maybe in your bush kitchen) would have been great. Thanks for your amazing work and all the best from Germany, Maximilian.
I enjoyed this video Andy! I really miss you hiking in the forest and catching Sooty Grunters! Really enjoyed your forest hiking! Also miss you on your small boat and finding little islands to do your catch n cooks! Missing the fish tacos! 🌮 Hoping you come out with new recipes and creating different meals with fish! Always enjoy your catch n cooks! Makes me so hungry and excited for adventure! ❤️
Ha ha it sounds like you want more of everything, I really wish I could do more hikes but my knees are still very sore from over a month ago I’m now taking glucosamine tablets to help them along

I appreciate that Justin, the problem is I need to reach more people to get much higher a few numbers at my current views I’m only just learning a basic wage, that’s the harsh reality of TH-cam
Great video Andy. My wife and I watch you a lot from Canada. Really like the mini Island episodes. Keep them up! The balloon trick was super cool idea! Gooo get em Eh.
Thank you Todd yes the balloon with the light was if I do say so myself a stroke of genius I literally just stumbled upon them in the shop when I was buying balloons
This Has to be one of my favourite Episodes of yours Andy. Only been fishing twice in my life but I love watching Fishing Video's. Keep up the good work. Subscriber from UK (London)
Hey Andy, what fun watching what I only dream I could do! Hint to get the most out of your “Ginger” flavor.... Add at the last 15 minutes of cooking!! Ginger has a propensity to dissipate in flavor as it cooks.
Maybe you could come out with me some day. Sorry for the late reply. I have been busy creating online fishing courses. In my last video I give a an update on it. Also note, I do see all new comments, this time I just got a bit behind.
Loving your longer videos. Any kayaking, boating, fishing and camping vids are great for me. Personally, I’m less interested in the flying vids, but hey, any Andy video is a buzz. Thanks for posting them.
I love your videos mate. And I really appreciate that you take a moment to read and reply to all comments. Good on you and good luck with your future endeavours
57 minutes oooooh this was my bedtime treat. Awesome vid, I love these long ones! You know the fishing is good when you get 2 on one lure. That was insane! Amazing fishing.
Hi Andy. I m from Malaysia. Glad you like our laksa :D when I m watching your videos, i m not just watching. I put into practice of what you do. Hopefully you can expand your camping more into affordable camping (i m broke as hell). perhaps you can show that camping can be accessible even at your lowest budget. tq andy. Love from Malaysia!
I will be, you'll see. Check out todays new video, I miss some, I get some and I eat a big one! Delicious recipe Fish Pie... 🐟 🥧 th-cam.com/video/XHuhxrD5Prg/w-d-xo.html
Excellent video Andy! Love the island video, and anything with exploring, either hiking, by plane, boat, or kayak, keep it up! Sorry to hear about your lady, hope you're both happy. Also, I'd love to see a video of your home garden, maybe a little tour to see what you're growing! If you're ever in Colorado, hit me up, I'll take you carp fishing!
With all the filming and editing I do my garden doesn’t get the attention it should, it always embarrasses me to show the weeds around my trees, when you said Colorado expected to hear trout, carp fishing surprised me. For sure one day I’ll travel the US again
I loved this episode! Laughed out loud when you said "Shark bait" and I unconsciously said ooh ha ha! And then it appeared on the screen! The balloon shark fishing was priceless too.
Hi my name is Caleb from Kentucky. Awesome video really like this style of tiny island fishing and exploring, I’d love to see more videos like this, as well as the beach foraging and fishing for sharks/bigger fish. Thanks for making awesome videos your always very informative and always make the videos interesting. Keep doing what your doing, me and my dad love watching your videos and would love to be able to travel and catch some of the fish you catch someday.
That was the sickest little island despite the rain that was the best video in a while in my opinion. That camp spot was sick too. Cheeeee shout out from big island Hawaii. Love the vids bradah.
Cool and thank you, you live in a beautiful place I have been there. That was before I filmed. Please let me know if you like this weeks video it’s similar but different.
Love the small island stuff. For my two cents; try doing some close ups on the fish, plants, shells you find. I think it gives an idea of what you are seeing. Keep yourself comfortable and keep trying new things. The more fun you have, the more I enjoy watching. Keep up the kit and tackle talk and maybe take one piece of kit you use all the time and give a 1 minute pro and con on it. From a kayak rod holder to your favourite pliers. Could tell you were really enjoying this trip even with what could be considered rougher camping/conditions. Cheers!
I did really enjoy this one, I have a new camera, but must get used to using it for close ups, check out todays video, I think it's a big improvement on this one.
Love the videos Andy and awesome to see you again. Hope your ok and wowwww two for one on the fish 😁how cool is that. Never seen that before. Amazing videos as always and take care buddy x

That little lizard you rescued looked like a 'common lizard' we get here in the UK, if you move slowly they don't feel that you're a threat and let you pick them up, really nice of you to help the little guy out.
Great bit of fishing at the end
Definitely do more island adventures with the hootchie Andy as it looks like a brilliant adventure and that is what is so appealing to your channel.
Thumbs up
Paul
Thanks Paul, I had a great time despite the wind and rain. And yes, I will do more of this style.
The land based fishing is great
Micro jigging on that hearty rise rod was cool as well
I must do more of both
@@Andysfishing when dropping a jig it is a good idea to run the line through you fingers so the jig falls straight down. It will make it sink straighter in current
Another fantastic video. The Island was awesome. Please do another. Thank you for sharing.
More to come, check out todays video, I think it's a big improvement on this one.
catching coral trout so close to shore from boat or island never gets old,. I used to spend a fortune going out wide,.... here you are catching them in a foot of water so good,.... more please.
Right here, check out todays video, I think it's a big improvement on this one.
You should do it
You are very creative and crafty....a lighted balloon to catch a shark!
Awesome, thank you!
I have to say it's the variety that keeps me entertained. But I'm a fan of the overnighters be they in the jungle on an island. By kayak, boat or trekking. Great work appreciate the effort.
My pleasure and my aim for this year was to do nothing but overnight videos, it’s not always possible
Very cool. Great format. Little place all to yourself. Land-based explore, plus fish = fun! Yes, more.
Thank you this week I’m trying a very similar video please let me know what you think of it
Love the episode. More shark fishing needed definitely and the small island camping looks amazing.
I agree. New video out if you haven't seen. th-cam.com/video/5OuJQ08tpEY/w-d-xo.html
An absolutely bloody ripper of an episode!!!! Best yet and a few comical moments.... keep them coming legend! Can't believe those trout!!!
Thank you. Check out this weeks video, it's like this one but a bit different, I'd be keen to hear your thoughts on it.
Thank you for being so honest and letting me know I appreciate it. My goal is to do a few of these and see how my channel goes from there
Andy, I'm a bit behind, but you're a legend and an absolute gem of a man. I prefer the longest vids, the longer the better, with multiple days camping and catch and cook. Jungle ones are good, but island even better! Cheers!
Thank you for letting me know.
Hey Andy, great episode! The island hopping is very interesting and I also enjoy seeing the camp set-up, cooking and the lure packs you get. It may all seem normal to you, but to many viewers your adventures are incredible. Keep it coming!
Yes I keep forgetting that what I do every week is almost a once in a lifetime thing for most people, you must keep reminding me of this
Thumbs up Andy's Kayak adventures. Andy's river Kayak adventures would be good as well.
I have to go somewhere there aren’t any crocodiles
Love your videos Andy, you are so lucky to be able to explore the beautiful islands, eat what you catch and also respect nature. that's my sort of heaven, keep up the sterling work. More videos please I just enjoy whatever topic you choose because here in the UK we don't have anything like it and you sure do know your 'stuff'!!
Thank you for the comment, yes I’ll do more for sure the harder you look the more you’ve got to explore I think
Loved the shark fishing. Small island camping is great. Thanks Andy!
I will definitely do both of those things again
Overnight Island camping is great! Island catch and cooks I really enjoy. But I also love the moutain/creek catch and cooks as well
It sounds you are like me, you like a bit of everything and variety as well.
Small island fishing is very enjoyable to watch. Was one of my favourite videos of yours. A third cooking part (maybe in your bush kitchen) would have been great. Thanks for your amazing work and all the best from Germany, Maximilian.
Cool, thanks, check out todays video, I think it's a big improvement on this one.
I love this kind of video! Camping on and fishing from small islands. Plz keep them coming! ATB
Thanks! Will do!
Such a fun adventure! Love the island hopping and seeing that even on that tiny island there is wildlife!
More to come
I enjoyed this video Andy! I really miss you hiking in the forest and catching Sooty Grunters! Really enjoyed your forest hiking! Also miss you on your small boat and finding little islands to do your catch n cooks! Missing the fish tacos! 🌮
Hoping you come out with new recipes and creating different meals with fish! Always enjoy your catch n cooks! Makes me so hungry and excited for adventure! ❤️
Ha ha it sounds like you want more of everything, I really wish I could do more hikes but my knees are still very sore from over a month ago I’m now taking glucosamine tablets to help them along
First time commenter but long time watcher. You do such a great commentary mate. I love it! Sorry to hear about the mrs. Mate I’ve been there before! Keep up the good work! I love the eel catch and cooks! I’m Dutch naturally I love it!
Nice to hear from you, yes all is very underrated in Australia it’s probably my favourite fish here
Awesome video Andy, these island adventures are fantastic. Take care out there!
Thanks, will do!
Another ripper upload Andy. Safe to say a lot of people would have the same opinion as I do, which is we don’t really mind what you upload we just love watching you do you.
Keep it up mate
I appreciate that Justin, the problem is I need to reach more people to get much higher a few numbers at my current views I’m only just learning a basic wage, that’s the harsh reality of TH-cam
Really enjoy the kayaking videos and the mini island overnighters seem great! Thanks Andy!
I’m really hoping I can get out again this week
Hello Andy. Great video so far. Half way through. I'll come back for the rest later. Enjoying this style. All the best.
Cheers Rhino
Excellent video, Andy! Camping on your own island is great. Really enjoyed this one. More small island videos!
Coming right up
Great video Andy.
Another great video. Thanks for the effort into making them that way Andy!
My pleasure, let’s see if you like this weeks video it’s similar but different to this one
This Has to be one of my favourite Episodes of yours Andy. Only been fishing twice in my life but I love watching Fishing Video's. Keep up the good work. Subscriber from UK (London)
Thank you that’s a great compliment
Love the kayak fishing adventures up there with those little islands. Actually love all the adventures you do. Great entertainment.
Thank you Scott, this weeks video similar but different I’d be keen to hear your thoughts on it
Hey Andy, what fun watching what I only dream I could do!
Great vid Andy.
I started watching AF during Victoria’s lock down and can’t get enough.
I love the island exploring
That’s great to hear, I think last month Queensland was winning the Covid race, ha ha
That hour went fast for me..I enjoy the variety on your channel Andy.
That’s a great compliment thank you
Loving your longer videos. Any kayaking, boating, fishing and camping vids are great for me. Personally, I’m less interested in the flying vids, but hey, any Andy video is a buzz. Thanks for posting them.
No worries John, I just like to mix things up and keeps it interesting for me as well
Loved Andy Island! Definitely should do this style of video more often.
Hoping to make the next video the same or similar to this
I love your videos mate. And I really appreciate that you take a moment to read and reply to all comments. Good on you and good luck with your future endeavours
No worries, reading the comments knows me I’m doing is the right thing or the wrong thing
@@Andysfishing the right thing
57 minutes oooooh this was my bedtime treat. Awesome vid, I love these long ones!
You know the fishing is good when you get 2 on one lure. That was insane! Amazing fishing.
Great to hear Luke, I’ve got another long episode coming this week please let me know what you think it’s similar but different
Love this types of video,u going on hikes n fishing also the island ones like this, but good job mate!..one luv Rasta!..❤️🇯🇲🇯🇲
More to come!
I really do enjoy this type of video Andy, you are so lucky you have access to islands to explore. Please do more like this 👍
Thank you and yes I will
Love the kayak overnighter vids mate! Double header coral trout was incredible to see as well 💪🏽
I’m already making plans for new places to go
Definitely like this style of video andy. Camping on little islands to do some land based fishing. Really liked it
Sweet, more to come
Another excellent one Andy ...just missed the camp fire ....🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹👌👌
Yes I wanted one but with all the rain there was no way I could start a fire
One of your best videos, such an experience thanks for sharing.
Please do more of these small island videos, absolutely enjoyed
Wow, thank you!
It’s funny how pop culture gets stuck in our heads and we all think the same
Love the whole island fishing exploring idea. Please do more, maybe a two day island hopping adventure:)
That's the plan, check out todays video, I think it's a big improvement on this one.
That hook up of 2 x Coral trout on a single lure is out of this world..... bloody amazing content, subscribed!
Great to have you on board, feel free to give me constructive criticism I’m always trying to improve my videos
I think I love the variety of vids Andy mate!
Certainly the overnight camping vids are always a winner.
Keep them coming
For sure I like to mix it up for my own sake but I will definitely do this sort of overnight Island again
Thank you Caleb it’s great to hear that you and your dad watch together. I hope to keep exploring and making videos for at least another 10 years
That was the sickest little island despite the rain that was the best video in a while in my opinion. That camp spot was sick too. Cheeeee shout out from big island Hawaii. Love the vids bradah.
Cool and thank you, you live in a beautiful place I have been there. That was before I filmed. Please let me know if you like this weeks video it’s similar but different.
Andy I love all of your videos mate, this one is really cool! Thankyou mate!
My pleasure
Whaaaat!? Two fish on one lure? I call cheats. Hacks. This has been an awesome episode and definitely would love to see more of these.
You saw it, I have done this a few times, two fish on the same lure, although one usually drops off at the boat.
Love the videos Andy and awesome to see you again. Hope your ok and wowwww two for one on the fish 😁how cool is that. Never seen that before. Amazing videos as always and take care buddy x
Thanks 👍, check out todays video, I think it's a big improvement on this one.
