  • "I'm going to do something now which is one of the reasons you listen to this programme..."
James O'Brien takes a deep dive into Conservative MP John Hayes, a man described as a 'mentor' to Home Secretary Suella Braverman.
James details information that is 'publicly available but not very widely reported' due to what he believes to be a complicit media landscape, which allows anti-Semitic conspiracy theories like 'Cultural Marxism' to ferment unchallenged.

I have absolutely no respect for Braverman. Having worked with the homeless for 17 years in London, a job that is frustrating and demoralizing to say the least. Homelessness is a very complex issue and people sleeping rough do so for a range of reasons- mental health, addiction dependency and just relationships breakdown are just a few. However for the Home Secretary to dismiss it as a life style choice is insulting and shows how alienated she is from reality. If she’s not able to bring herself to acknowledge that homelessness has spiraled due to decades of failed government housing policies, she should keep quiet. If she’s not able to open more hostels, the most basic humanitarian thing that we can do is to offer a warm corner, blanket and some hot food. We are heading for a frosty winter period, the least we can do is show some humanity towards those in need, rather than demonising them and lecturing about lifestyle choices. Come on Suella- wake up!

While an end to FPTP and the two party (uniparty) system, very strict rules against forms of corruption and other typical politician behaviour could make it more "for the people". As opposed to the trade unions, who would have made her husband do menial work because they didn't want foreigners doing work that took british jobs?
"However, despite black workers joining trade unions in large numbers, they were not welcomed by the UK trade union movement or the TUC. While the immigrant workers did not constitute a threat to the jobs of British workers because of acute labour shortages following the war, the TUC argued during the 1950's and 1960's that black workers did not integrate with white workers. This helped to stereotype black migrant workers as "problem" and "other". Even though during the 1969 TUC Congress, rank-and-file trade union members challenged the immigration controls and supported government's plans in calling for positive action to combat discrimination, the TUC General Council prevented the motion receiving majority support, thereby opposing government plans for anti-discrimination legislation."
