I understand your contrast thing, but I think he smart in doing some monochromatic. Some people love simple monochromatic colors and other like huge contrast.
Oh, my god. All these extra fins are just so huge. The tails are pretty, but I also think that such a huge amount of big fins wavering around me when I'm swimming would annoy me at some point 🤣 But you know what would be cool? Fins on mermaid leggings. Not those huge fins like on the Mertailor tails, just some tiny little cute side fins. At least I think that'd be cool ^^💕💙
I bought 2 of Mertailor fabric tails and one did pill a little and there were no drainage holes in them so I made my own because when I swam I had a huge air pocket and I also had to take in the waist on both of them because they were too large and they are still to long for me so I wasn't happy with that. But I love the colors and design. Good thing I am a seamstress.
I love their tales, but I love your individually created and sized tails better. (It's not a competition, just a statement of personal preference :) Something that fascinates me in tails is temperature based color changing paints. However, I do have one question. Would you be willing/able to do an "over the bust" version of a mermaid tail? Asking for a friend :)
Nice review I agree all the koi fins are a bit much, I personally like a dorsal fin and ankle fins and that’s all. But the patterns are nice I love the scales.
I really want one of the koi tails, but for the price of the tailskin + monofin + shipping + customs fees I can buy all the materials for a silicone tail (which is what I actually did :P )

Competition is important for business, without competition there is no motivation to produce a better product, to improve! It's so VERY important because not only does it provide competition it also provides variety and style. For example, I personally I'm not a fan of Finfun because I dislike their monofins as a very strong swimmer (I personally do not appreciate the poor energy transference from my body to the fin during the dolphin kick) however I do understand why beginners like it, it has a HUGE learning curve and makes the dolphin kick easy and friendly for beginners where as using a monofin like the shooter would be extremely difficult for beginners due to its short length, hardness and lack of forgiveness if one leg kicks harder than the other (results in tilting and twisting). And you know what? If there was no competition, then there would be less Merfolk.
The mertailor fins are beautiful!! However I’m hoping to get a custom commission of one of your tails down the line!! So if you ever accept a pretty big order of stuff from your site know that it’s me :}
