Nadine Sierra - Bernstein: West Side Story: Somewhere (Live/Opus Klassik 2019)

Live from Berlin - Soprano Nadine Sierra joined by the Konzerthaus Orchester under the baton of Christoph Eschenbach performs Leonard Bernstein's famous song 'Somewhere' from West Side Story.. This performance was part of this year's OPUS KLASSIK Awards, one of Germany’s most important awards ceremonies for classical musicians, which took place on 13.10.2019 at Konzerthaus Berlin. The American soprano received the jury prize in the category Emerging Artists.

She was named the Richard Tucker Award Winner in 2017 and was awarded the 2018 Beverly Sills Artist Award by the Metropolitan Opera. I am not qualified to judge, but I think something is off. As someone who has listened to numerous versions hundreds of times, I believe the song has yet to find the best singer for it.
