Pavarotti sucked at this song. Of course I was not a fan of his anyway. Too light, too wild, too nervy. The song needs to come from a deeper foundation. It’s already nervy.

This is a hard song for lighter coloratura voices, almost a dramatic song for a classically trained theater tenor.
