Rebecca never dreamed of becoming a writer, she had her heart set on acting. She actually took some offense when it was suggested she should write a screenplay. Rebecca thought it was what you do when you fail at acting. However, she soon learned that writing put her in charge of everything. She could escape and create a world of whatever she wanted. The therapeutic benefits of writing helped her cope with her divorce and being a single mom of two young boys.
