Still, I'm sure in the future date they might come back and say, I need to pay more stamp duty, how to deal with that circumstances? the mistake is clearly made by solicitors.
would it be ok to get a new credit card and use it between exchange and completion, we would like to spend this money on the additional fittings into new built property?
It is difficult to say without knowing your affordability and how much you intend to spend on the card etc. To be on the safe side, probably best to avoid.

You need to discuss with your solicitors. In the event in the future there was an issue you’d need to seek legal advice.
