Sadly it's hard to get a really good sound on a wooting since there aren't as many switch options. But in my opinion the things that make the biggest difference in sound. 1. Switch 2. Case 3. Tape mod and gummy o ring mod.
I had an issue with 1 switch that was faulty that I replaced, and it is working. I haven't experienced any issues with deadzones or rapid trigger. The only thing that I don't like about the switches is that the factory lubing is a bit inconsistent. I would say from my batch 90% where well lubed and the other needed a bit more. I was also debating whether to get the raw or black knight. The reason I went for the black knight is that it was half the cost of the raw he switches for me. They still don't compare to a good normal mechanical switch. Hope this helps. If you have any questions, let me know. Overall, I do think they are better than the stock lekker v1 switches.
@@zerocloudfps Thank you very much for the detailed reply. I truly appreciate it. I might just go with the Raw HE switches then since I've had very good experience with my current HMX Raptor Extreme switches for my other board.
I haven't thought about that since I am just getting started. Maby in the future. But the mods done to this board are pretty easy to do and only took me about 2 hours.
These are magnetic switches, same as the wooting one. They just sound a but better and have a lighter actuation compared to the lekker 60. You can still use all features of the wooting. Hope this clears things up.
I found them on aliexpress, and they were called blue samurai keycaps. I have included a link to one company selling them. (Not sure of links work) a.aliexpress.com/_EzWpbZJ
Maybe overlubed? Seems kinda mushy... i mean, it's not bad but tbh I prefer the stock sound in this video (stabs could use a little more lube in the stock of course). Very aesthetically pleasing though the look the of mods. :)
Thanks for the feedback, I did intentionally over lube the stabs a bit since i like it this way. I'm trying to figure out how to record the sound better since I don't think the video full represents what it sounds like in real life.
I have a stock yunzii al66 that sounds so good. I would like to replicate my wooting to sound like that just don’t know where to start lmao

Next time type a bit slower so we can hear it better🤦🏽♂️
I'm considering this Black Knight switches and the Geon Raw HE switches. Any issues with dead zones or rapid trigger? Incredible video BTW.

@@zerocloudfpsWhy don't they compare to normal switches? Aren't hall effect better?
Will you ever make a site or something to were people could buy your custom keyboards?

@@zerocloudfps thats so cool, thanks for informing me
What makes wooting special is their pcb, not switches. You can install pretty much any HE switch
