Now that the most amazing creature in the world, the Snow Owl, is finally available on a free map, Lost Island! I thought I would show you guys exactly where to get it and a quick way to tame it too! I am so excited that it is now available for everyone to have one! This is truly the best map ever!

I know its obvious to some where the snow owls might be and how to tame..but since its their first time being free, maybe there would be a few that dont know exactly where they are or how to tame! I hope you enjoy and I hope that I helped

That mountain that you checked out usually has tons of owls also I have had the most luck near the ice wyvern trench and near the volcano biome

Dino wipe command is useful if you're having a hard time finding something that otherwise spawns fairly easily. Remember, it's not cheating if you're fixing the game's "mistakes" 😎
Yesterday i go to that ice biome where snow owl spawn when i make cinematic in there for unknow reason snow owl was spawn 10 times in same place at same time....so they kill me lol

If your trap is either REALLY far away or pretty close just hold W don't hold Shift because your gonna go faster than the Snow Owl and it's gonna De-Aggro

If you guys are having trouble finding owls like I have been look in and around the Ice Wyvern trench. It’s the only place I’ve been able to find them

recommendations without a net gun???? i havent bought genesis
The best way i know how is to use the gate trap i used in the video..make sure there is enough room for you to get out.. have a tame preferably a flyer that is either strong enough to take hits orrrr youre willing to sacrifice... find the snow owl you want and kite it to your trap remember snow owls get distracted easily or wont do what you want so have some patience..option one risky but can be done..keep both doors open get snow owl in, close the one door while still on your tame and once closed, jump off and leave your tame there to take a couple hits while you place or close the other door, then move youre tame out of the way.. option 2 the sacrifice...have one door closed, kite owl in and jump off your tame leaving him in there while you fit through the gap to get out and shut or place the door on the other side and then tranq it out...im sure there are other ways but thats what i did before net guns!

Is it possible to craft the snow owl saddle on the map lost Island without the DLC? I'm playing on it since it's free and I already caught a snow owl but I couldn't find a snow owl saddle to make...
you have to go into your engram list and enable extinction engrams. and you should be able to access it after that 😀hope that helps
There's a little pond that is a tiny bit away from the snow just go to the most south east point of the snow find the pond and there is always at least 3 there for me I got a 145 one there just yesterday I named her snowy

How to tame in one sec: click tab and search for forcetame while you are looking at the dino you wanna tame and boom it is yours. Hope this helps;)
That’s cheating tho, Doesn’t feel nice when you force tame since it doesn’t feel like you’ve fully tamed it

i believe you have to go into your engram list and enable extinction engrams. and you should be able to access it after that 😀hope that helps

its called the snow owl saddle and should be available at level 61 😀
Am I crazy or did they get rid of the dive ability of snow owls? I tamed a 140 on The Lost Island a week or so ago, took it out around the map and it doesn’t dive at all!
i just went and did a double check on mine and he still glides! im not sure what could be the problem! i wish i could help!

Do u know how to get a snow owl saddle on this map? The engram isn’t there for it for me, so is there another way to obtain a saddle for it?
that is very strange that there is no engram..maybe double check that you are past level 61 and if its still not there that is probably something that wildcard needs to look at so let me know and i can see if i can bring some attention to it..cant make any promises but ill try XD

@@wynterwolf8947 it could be that the engram is only unlockable on extinction, because the owl is from extinction like the managamr
it is true what whatkatzisein says, it looks as though they still have the engram locked on extinction..i did ask around and that seems to be that with a few other engrams too..unfortunately unless they put them in drops around, you may have to cheat it in if you can.. there is also command that will let you ride something without a saddle but you have to do it every relog- if you can do commands it is cheat forcetame - i know its not optimal but its something - i hope i helped a little
I got a snow owl, but how in the world do I make a saddle on this map??? Everything I read says level 61 but thats for the beaver......need help please
