Beautiful material.Never knew about this machine until i ve read about the Hindenburg Airship disaster , when reporter Herbert Morrison recorded the moments of explosion on this machine in 1938 at Lakehurst
Been a huge fan of Alan Lomax, the pioneer field recorder out of his trunk for many years now
In the 1940's they also used vinyl discs as blanks too. Decelith.
