Well...this was 9 years ago and my movie maker program didn't support adding captions or sub-titles. But I have a newer version of this video called "Captioned - Helen Keller Entertains Guests" and it's captioned. If you dig through the videos on my channel. you'll find it. I think I made it about 6 years ago. Anyway...thanks for your interest. I hope things are going well for you! 🦋🌷🥀🦋
She just seemed like such a good-natured, loving, genuinely caring, nurturing, kind, happy woman. She had such a sweet face and an uplifting smile. I could feel her love and kindness through the video. If only Helen was able to see what a beautiful woman she was, too. She was a huge inspiration
With her heightened olfactory sense, I'm sure flowers must smell so much sweeter to her. Each time I watch her video, I am reminded of how much this wonderful lady has taught me. Thank you for uploading yet another precious clip! Love & fondest thoughts always, dear Helen!
Yes...I'm certain Helen Keller noticed the fragrance of the flowers at a deeper level than most people. Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment, my kind friend! Warmest wishes!
Oh how wonderful. This was such a treat to watch! It's a pleasure to watch these precious film clips. I hope you are happy and well, my friend. You are often in my thoughts!
I'm so pleased to hear from you again dear Sister! Thanks for the sweet comment....it means a lot. I often wonder how you are..... Warmest wishes for you always!
"I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do." by Helen Keller It is always a pleasure to see chanells like yours receiving the recognition you deserve so well. Warmest thanks for all of your work.
My god! Thanks a lot. Helen was an excellent typist..this is great..and she was a lovely and happy lady. It's a pleasure to watch this video.Helen is so merry when she's next to the bird cage too. It's amazing because she seems to speak to the bird.I wish Helen was still alive,i'm sure she would help many people and give them faith and hope. She was a real sunshine.
Great and remarkable woman, wonderful sharing, dear Helen, sunny moments brightening up the corner of the world, I'll send you a smile and my best wishes. ♥♥ ~ Maggie ~ ♥♥
She's my favorite lady ..my hero and a inspiration ...truly a determined intelligent beautiful miracle along with her true hero miss Annie Sullivan ...❤️❤️😌
Helen is a great Lady and so lovely and happy to see this video..Immense thanks dear Helen for sharing such a valuable video of her..Blessings to you always !! Much love,Menu ~
Thank you for compiling all these videos so that those who purposefully look up Helen Keller and those who stumble upon these videos will learn so much more about her. I certainly did. Thank you so much.
FYI there’s another young lady who is blind and deaf that just graduated Harvard as an Attorney!! That does keep me motivated as I believe, the worst part of being me is living the way I do. Due to my chronic disabilities and visually impaired with a 49% loss of hearing in both ears, most people are afraid to approach me and my passed good friends have passed away. This makes it very difficult to make friends so I feel very lonely. My family is estranged and my immediate family are too busy with their own lives. Having a friend near by would be the ultimate in keeping me happy. Without friends you become so isolated and depressed❣️🇨🇦
I always wondered about her when i was younger, hearing different things about her. Nice to know these gems exist.... kudos to whoever thought to record these so long ago.
Another great video about fabulous and inspirational women! I am always very happy to see your new video about Helen. Thank you my dear friend Helen. Wish you a happy, wonderful week. Mira
thank you Halen for sharing such a wonderful video. Watching the video with my mom... I really got to know how joyous person Helen Keller was. Marvelous video...., very inspiring and uplifting . Have a great weekend. Namaste _/\_ from India.
Hi Mark, I'm glad you and your mother enjoyed the little video. It's always very nice to hear from you! Wishing you and your family a beautiful new week ahead!
Very interesting. My daughter is doing her 3rd grade project on Helen Keller. I love revisiting the story. Now with videos I'm discovering so much more. My daughter is dyslexic, so this is very inspiring for her. She's worked so hard to overcome it. Thank you!
She lived such a blessed life, blessed with so much talent, love, and so full of life. So great that you upload such inspirational footage of the lovely Helen Keller. x :)
Hi Marilene, Thanks very much for the sweet words! I'm happy you like the video, my friend! Please have a beautiful Sunday, also! It's great to hear from you!
Learning about Helen Keller when I was in kindergarten inspired me to major in special education - visual disabilities and to have a 40+ year career in special education and health/disability administration.
Helen was surrounded by nature, privilege and company as she had access to so much:her life was rich, gifted. Her handicap should not have defined her ...
True, but that was decades ago -- but things still haven't changed that much. She should be known for her views AS MUCH AS for her handicap. Let's be honest: if she weren't handicapped and privileged, nobody would've listened to her.
Pretty amazing really. If I didn't already know she was blind and deaf in advance, i would just see her as a woman sitting at her typewriter. Just amazing really. Quite an inspiration to all of us. I knew about her, but haven't seen this film footage until now.
Awesome video Helen, your such a great person to upload all this great information,Ive learned so much from your channel..ty ty my friend, your video's are greatly appreciated !!!!!
Hi Helen it is funny as over here we have been watching the drama that was made about Helen's life, I wondered how true to her life it really was?, she is such an outstanding lady and we are so glad you made this wonderful channel dedicated to her amazing life a true inspiration! hugs and bless always from Peter and Mary-Anne
Hi Peter and Mary-Anne, Yes...it's a bit hard to tell sometimes where reality ends and fantasy begins, when movies are made about Helen Keller. There's a lot a movies about Helen K. But to be honest...I really haven't watched many of the newer movies yet. Hope you are enjoying spring in your garden And perhaps you'll get some relief from the rain!
I would love to have know this amazing woman. She was a wonderful soul that was an inspiration to so many. One true Ray of light on this earth and still is.
From a simple teacher Campinas-SP, Brasil to you all: I consider she and Ms Anne S. genious, both! And both found their importance (place) in this bad world. Very thankful for it! sorry by the mistakes (language) hugs in Christ, Mônica.
Communicating with a deaf person is pretty easy with todays voice to text technology. But what type of tech exists for deafblind?... like an instant braille generator device for spontaneous communication with those who don't know signs.

This is amazing
A wonderful video of a courageous woman who overcame her disabilities
This woman was amazing but if it wasn't for her wealthy family who hired the teacher Ann Sullivan to help her it would be a different story ....
Carmen Gomez Yes Carmen....that's very true.
That is so true as is evidenced in the story of Marie Heurtin. Although she too learned how to communicate, she only lived to be 36.
Maybe but they had to do something to help their child I would do anything to help my child if it was me
Those who had put Thumbs down are really fools... 🙅

Are we even sure that "she" is a "she"? cant assume gender
You liberals are so obsessed with sexuality as if it is THE thing that identifies you.
Get over your fetishes, constantly making people gay.
