S65 V8 put into a Volvo 242 over in Seattle. Marcus allowed me to film and go over his entire build. What an awesome car. The rain made it a bit harder than what I wanted to deal with, but we made it work!

I'm doing the exact same engine and tranny conversion to my - 86 Volvo 240 in Sweden this winter.
I've been driving mine for 12 years now and still loving it.
that guy is THE MAN! Huge props to him and his friend for this build.

I get crazy goosebumps from this. Almost all cars I've ever driven are Volvos, my own car is a Volvo and I'm definetly going to build a car like this in the future.
As a swede, I always thought the swedish accent is a bit corny, but not when this guys speaks.
I think what sounds corny about swedes speaking english is the lack of cadence in the speech because, well it's not our mother tongue. So words get lost in translation and we stutter. I'm very impressed by his vocabulary and flow in his speech. And he's not like the swedes living in america who desperately are trying to lose their accent. He wears it, and it suits.
Yes I know this was an out of topic comment, but I'm just someone who's interested in accents.
As a Dutch guy I sympathize with corny sounding accents, and I enjoyed your comment.

That's awesome man, I had a 95 850TR5, 3" DP+ cat back chipped loved the car but only available as auto and it was front wheel drive which it should not have been, still running today at 345Km, then had a V70R manual same mods but a lot more power, sold it with 195Km, did not need a wagon anymore. The Volvos at the time did not excite me so wanted to buy a manual Audi RS5 with the NA V8 because I thought I needed to have an all wheel again but then drove an E90M3 and was hooked at the balance, overall lighter feel, suspension etc... and still driving it, never done any mods to this day at 132Km.

In my opinion oldschool volvos are badass looking + every real car guy would recomend it for drifting and so on,and most of the people use it for that,the chasis are so stiff and durable,where other cars would get bent and destroyed,volvo holds up,unbelieveable quality car

At 11:59 he’s on Airport Rd in the SoDo area of Seattle. Lots of motorcycle cops there, as their hub is a block off it. Gots to keep your eyes peeled and the V2 on, cause even in that weather they’re out there hiding and they’ll get cha!
the biggest question is, how did marcus ended up in the us :D sjukt ball bil. och helt rätt koncept :D (from a swede to another :D) to bad we didnt got the chance to see some donuts or drifting. that would have been the peak of this video

It's a unique build, here in Sweden most ppl put in m50b25 with turbo or 2jz or t5 from v70 :) or keep the b230 with better rod and piston with turbo and make about 400-700hk :p

This engine swap is an upgrade for both the car and the engine. If you know what I mean 😆
