Loved this, both from a video editing perspective but also learning about how an actor's rhythm can really affect a performance, and it's awesome Matthew understood that and adjusted his performance to make things fit nicely. So interesting!
Thank you for watching! I agree!
this is the best video lesson for the day...perfect and important...
(excuse me while i watch it ...again )
thx
Thank you for the kind words!
OMG the volume
Thanks for watching!
This is awesome!
Thanks so much!
Awesome video and what a cool opportunity!
Thank you for your kind words!
Amazing!
Thanks!
Very cool. I spent a year editing a super 8 film featurette when I was younger (why? because I could!) and started noticing individual frames in the cut. Important because it was impossible to put them back once cut...but I consider that experience and it's instincts priceless and still valuable to what I do today. Awesome video, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching and for sharing! There’s nothing like cutting on film to help you realize the importance of each frame =)
I like the look. What camera was used for this? The grade is really nice too.
Thank you for your comment! The PSA was shot by Rick Diaz on an Arri Alexa with color grading by Joe Malina.
Crazy cool! I wish this video would be like 20 minutes or so 🙏🏼 if you have something more to share, please 😁
Thank you so much, Jona! I will keep that in mind as I plan future videos!
Every frame counts, but I would give more weight to the director than the actor. Actor wants his performance to be great, director wants everybody’s performance to be great.
Thanks for watching!
