I saw this when it aired and I'm pretty sure he made Matt do it every time after. I also would love whenever Rosie Perez was on and her would make her say, "Izuzu Trooper." And, of course, Kevin Spacey always had to do Carson.
This may have been his best time as an actor too, I feel. He was really good at the more introverted roles, like Good Shepherd and even Bourne in a way... projecting power with silence.

Finally, I can be one of those people who say “I was at that show!” It was a fun experience, but took up so much of the day waiting in about 3 different lines at 3 different times! Barbara Walters was the other guest.
