Funny, I just realised that I've been following Laura for ten years, I kind of grew up with her (and my cooking skills as well). She is part of my life and I will probably follow her until it lasts.
I love this recipe... I made it tonight but instead of serving it on a sandwich I served it over rigatonis because all I had in my bread box were some hamburger rolls and I knew they'd never hold up once I put the sausages and peppers, etc. on them. I made the butter and toasted the buns in the over and put them on the side to mop up the sauce. Worked out great for me. Thanks.

You make everything so delicious and with love. I've never made sausage and peppers with red sauce or tomatoes. I have made roasted sausage with sauce potatoes and peas. Made the eggplant parmesan tonight ..your recipe with flour and egg. Came out great.
