- Delbert McClinton was a good friend of Mr. Lucky's and performed several concerts there. This is one of them. Enjoy the whole 2 hour show. We do not claim any copyrights to any of these songs.

Absolutely love everything this guy does. Throughout his whole career. Favorite performer of all time.

This band is typical of every band that I ever heard with Delbert McClinton, OUTSTANDING.
DELBERT U COULD PUT THIS OUT TODAY , PEOPLE LOVE YOUR MUSIC
The days when men still controlled dancing movements while a great band played. A+
Been following Delbert since late 70s...last show I saw was March 2021
In covid recovery...just what the doctor ordered...thanks for posting...hard to believe 31 years ago...
ditto
Delbert's always a treat to listen to but when you've got Rick Kurtz on the stage playing guitar it's sweeeet.
Was wondering who was on guitar. Smoking
RIP He had a stroke about 10 years ago, retired and then passed in late 2021.
I’m loving’ this!

Thank you so much! Mr. Lucky's was gone by the time I moved to Phoenix. But I heard stories......
Sending me angels
What a great concert
Man I lived in the Valley then and I missed Delbert . Darn the bad luck!
I heard giving it up for your love on my favorite station today. Remind me how great Delbert McClinton was. That guy had a great voice and is a great songwriter I think I read somewhere a long time ago where he taught John Lennon how to play the harmonica that is saying something
No wonder he's in songwriters Hall of Fame in Texas.
Delbert is the Man
He knew years ago…..MORE COWBELL!!!!!!!
Great singer!

❤
Frosty on drums.
Minuto 44, ¿ Alguien sabe el título de la canción?
Anyone know piano man's name?
Mike Duke?
Check out the recordings from 1989 at th-cam.com/video/H-kUJu0KUpc/w-d-xo.html, the drummer seems similar and Don Wise at the saxophone is definitely present at Mr. Lucky's. So maybe Nick Connolly on keyboards as well?
That is Mike Duke, who was in Wet Willie. He moved to SF at some point and wrote/co-wrote several songs for Huey Lewis and the News. I believe that the guitar player is Rick Kurtz- I can't really see his face, but that looks like Rick's '63 Strat.
@@the-magictones Don WISE was Delbert's sax man for 20 years, not Don Was.
@@hasinai Thanks a lot, I corrected my comment.
