I did not even know that a variegated Christmas cactus existed!!! Wow! It's amazing. I have the variegated Burle Marx and I absolutely love it! Yes, he's very easy care and just gets prettier with every new unfurled leaf. I also have a baby Philodendron Billietaie and I do love him but he is growing so freaking slow IDK why or what I am doing wrong. And I also have the Boobie Cactus!! lol and I love her so much I even bought her a boobie planter to live in! I found her on Etsy.(same with the planter) I get most of my plants there because I have literally zero nurseries in my hometown. I find a lot of great shops and rare plants on Etsy so maybe look there and I hope you get all your wish list plants! omg I want the Florida Beauty too! If you like silver/blue leaves, you might like the alocasia ivory coast/alocasia Morocco. It has blue leaves and pink petioles. I just got one over the weekend from a shop that delivers. I also saw a euphorbia ivory coast for $125 in a modern white pot and i was blown away at how beautiful that combo was. I love that Hoya on your list. As far as what I want, I have a ton of plants on my wishlist: philodendron birkin, philodendron pink princess, that white euphorbia, an anthurium clairinervium, alocasia silver dragon, and either a pepperomia or Hoya with round trailing leaves.. but I'm not trying to spend too much so I'm waiting for prices to drop.
Myrtillocactus and euphorbia white ghost are on my wishlist too! Everything else I'm crazy for is a dischidia, and like so many aroids they're difficult to find without importing or paying a heeefty price. I'd love to find a dischidia Major and Imbricata within Canada 😬😂🌱
I have a burle marx but not the varigated version. I'm still trying to figure out how to keep the leaves from flopping everywhere LOL. But in the process it's putting out a new leaf. Booby 🌵...😂 I love it!

I have a cutting of hoya obovata and I only it bought on Ebay because it looks like everyone and their relatives want this hoya. Probably paid way too much, but I jumped on the occasion when I saw it! Oh well..! And I have P. Florida Ghost, the new leaves are just stunning, you totally need to get a new one!! 😍
If you dont already have one, i would really recommend a grafted coral cactus, it is so funky, the only thing is that you should wear gloves while handling it since the wet sap can be irritating to the skin and slightly toxic/poisonous, but it is a beautiful amd really funky and cool looking cactus
Euphorbia White Ghost for sure as well as the Obovata. I like keeping my Obovata acquisition at bay. I see them for sale sometimes, but im waiting for THE ONE. I'm also waiting to move into a place fitting of my future Philodendron Majesty.
I had to pause the video multiple times to add these plants to my wish list as well 😆. How well do you think Philodendron do in winter weather? I have a couple of monsteras but I heard other philodendron (like the burle marx or birkin) do not do well in winter which is why I am so scared to buy one ☹. Also, I agree that plants have become more expensive especially if you buy online (which will most likely be the case for me for rare plants) and I would be so heartbroken if I end up killing them after paying so much!
Gloriosum is at the top of my wishlist right now too! I saw it and have been dying to find one ever since. I recently purchased a squamiferum, which I never thought I would own...it was definitely one of those light switch plants for me and I am so happy with it!
Wow I actually have 3 of your wishlist plants. But sadly they are all pretty small so even if you where in the U.S.A. I couldn't quite give you a cutting. The varigated Christmas cactus was on my wishlist for awhile and I found a small cutting for $18.00 total after shipping. It had one tiny tiny TINY root and had 2 ittle sections on both sides. Some of those have started growing roots. So far it has been pretty happy and easy to care for. I left it all as 1 piece cause I loved the shape of it. But we will see if I keep it all together once those sections have really good roots. Right now they have some but if I cut them off not sure the roots would stay on the main piece or not. So leaving it alone. I found it for sale on a Facebook plant group. You may give that a try. The Obovata is a little harder than some of my other hoyas. In my experice they are easier to accidently rot. But so far I have managaed to keep almost all of the plant alive. And lastly my Ghost cactus was a straight stick when I got it. It did have roots but wasn't branched out at all. But over the last 2 weeks it started growing out in about 4 or 5 areas at the very top. Can't wait til it has branches and isn't just a straight stick anymore. LoL Hope you get some your wishlist plants soon!!! I love Wishlist videos. It is always interesting to see what other people have on their's and if you have any that are on their list.

The boobie cactus is a Myrtillocactus Geometrizans Fukurokuryuzinboku! We have a shop here in laval quebec that sells them along with the variegated Thanksgiving or Christmas cactus! I dont know if they ship outside of QC but its called Serres Lavoie if you ever want to have a look at the website

The boob cactus is Myrtillocactus geometrizans ‘Fukurokuryuzinboku’...which is why it's always referred to by it's common name xD I got mine from Crystal Star Nursery last summer :)

I almost bought a strawberry shake top cutting but decided to stray from it because $$$ but they are up there on my list. Philodendron Ring of Fire and Caramel Marble are my top two wishlist plants. They’re so dang pretty. I just purchase a node cutting of a ROF and I’m so excited to see how this cutting grows. I’ve never grown anything from a node, but your propagation video helped me some with setting up my lil guy with his new setting!

I'm not big on 'It" plants, but sometimes, one captivates me. That plant is Sansevieria Masoniana. I want one so much. My other current wish list plants aren't anything flashy or truly difficult to find (online). I want a Sansevieria Whitney; Opuntia Baby Rita; Opuntia zebrina reticulata; the E. White Ghost; replacement E. Obesas (I lost all mine in the floods two years ago); and plants I'll never buy because I don't have the humidity necessary or the space they'd need. I bought three this summer that I've wanted for quite a few years: Pilea peperomioides (I've only ever seen it in books until this year - I bought two of them and they're doing fab.), Adenium (gorgeous and I love it); and then there's the overpriced, ugly, homely horrid little penis cactus. I regret buying it. I've never spent that much on a plant and when I think about the number of decent cacti I could have had for that amount of money, it makes me mad. I'll keep it as a reminder that I have no impulse control. Maybe it will get cuter, but probably not. I was just looking at it yesterday and wondering if it would ever get really cool looking like some I've seen. Signs point to No.

My wishlist: Alocasia Amazonica, monstera adasonii, calathea macoyana, ficus elastica, helecho osaka, calathea triostar, and a million more of course ♥
My top 2 wishlist plants are alocasia frydek and philodendron pastazanum. I ordered them a few weaks ago, but am still waiting for them to arrive due to postponed shipping/worldwide heatwave. After that comes peace lily picasso, cercestis mirabilis, scindapsus treubii moonlight and monstera standelyana.
I don't have many on my list at the minute. I've been on a buying spree to help boost my mental health (chronic shoulder and wrist pain for months and specialist appointments taking a long time to get it seen to have taken their toll, plants have helped fend of the blues) I have three sansevierias; Hahnii, Cleopatra and Silver Flame but they are proving tricky to find especially the last two. Plus a Panda paws finishes off my current list :) I'm trying to build my list back up a bit with small (no bigger than medium) plants with red and purple foliage that would be happy in an east windowsill for reds and a couple of feet back from an east window for the purples with succulent lifestyle, you know, regular humidity kinda drought and drench type, that's pretty much all my other plants so I kinda want to stick to what I know I won't kill! But the only plant I've been recommended is a tradescantia zebrina, cute but not at all suitable; it wants too much light, too much water and grows too quick.

Amydrium medium silver apparently needs high humidity, but desert struggles. 😭 My wishlist: H. villlosa, H. clemensiorum, and P. billietiae x atabapoense. (Or P. atabapoense). I will say I am very thankful for the wishlist plants I have been able to acquire recently. 🥰
Girl. I just paid 40$ for a 4 inch pot of micans. I literally haven't been able to find it & every website that gets them sells out right away so I went to etsy thinking I would he spending like 25 dollars but nope. My wishlists are definitely, pink princess but its my dream plant, Antherium Clairinurvem, flordia ghost because I just have plain ol green flordia & monstera Peru. 🌿💚

I would like to have a variegated monstera adansonii, but at the moment they are out of my price range. I'm kinda counting on Dutch growers starting to mass produce those so the price lowers a bit. Also...some hoyas... maybe I'll get those iwhen I've got a little more space. I also got the hoya heuschkeliana lately after losing a couple of ebay auctions. It was on my wishlist for quite some time...the blooms are extremely cute. Like wee little fairy hats.

Speaking of prices I agree! I’m seeing scindapsus and epepreneums going for 5-10 more than they usually do and it’s kinda upsetting as a new plant owner. Back in May I could get a full plant for $5-10 now when I see them being sold in groups they’re like $15-25 and I’m like whyyyyy they’re fricking pothos ffs!

I have the billietiae and hoya obovata splash, and both are among my favorite plants right now! Easy growers and so beautiful.

I haven’t had a problem with philodendron over the winter! But I do use grow lights and a humidifier so 🤷♀️ haha

I almost bought a strawberry shake top cutting but decided to stray from it because $$$ but they are up there on my list.
Philodendron Ring of Fire and Caramel Marble are my top two wishlist plants. They’re so dang pretty. I just purchase a node cutting of a ROF and I’m so excited to see how this cutting grows. I’ve never grown anything from a node, but your propagation video helped me some with setting up my lil guy with his new setting!

I'm not big on 'It" plants, but sometimes, one captivates me. That plant is Sansevieria Masoniana. I want one so much. My other current wish list plants aren't anything flashy or truly difficult to find (online). I want a Sansevieria Whitney; Opuntia Baby Rita; Opuntia zebrina reticulata; the E. White Ghost; replacement E. Obesas (I lost all mine in the floods two years ago); and plants I'll never buy because I don't have the humidity necessary or the space they'd need. I bought three this summer that I've wanted for quite a few years: Pilea peperomioides (I've only ever seen it in books until this year - I bought two of them and they're doing fab.), Adenium (gorgeous and I love it); and then there's the overpriced, ugly, homely horrid little penis cactus. I regret buying it. I've never spent that much on a plant and when I think about the number of decent cacti I could have had for that amount of money, it makes me mad. I'll keep it as a reminder that I have no impulse control. Maybe it will get cuter, but probably not. I was just looking at it yesterday and wondering if it would ever get really cool looking like some I've seen. Signs point to No.

My top 2 wishlist plants are alocasia frydek and philodendron pastazanum. I ordered them a few weaks ago, but am still waiting for them to arrive due to postponed shipping/worldwide heatwave. After that comes peace lily picasso, cercestis mirabilis, scindapsus treubii moonlight and monstera standelyana.

I don't have many on my list at the minute. I've been on a buying spree to help boost my mental health (chronic shoulder and wrist pain for months and specialist appointments taking a long time to get it seen to have taken their toll, plants have helped fend of the blues)
I have three sansevierias; Hahnii, Cleopatra and Silver Flame but they are proving tricky to find especially the last two. Plus a Panda paws finishes off my current list :)
I'm trying to build my list back up a bit with small (no bigger than medium) plants with red and purple foliage that would be happy in an east windowsill for reds and a couple of feet back from an east window for the purples with succulent lifestyle, you know, regular humidity kinda drought and drench type, that's pretty much all my other plants so I kinda want to stick to what I know I won't kill! But the only plant I've been recommended is a tradescantia zebrina, cute but not at all suitable; it wants too much light, too much water and grows too quick.
Look into coleus! They are beautiful plants and come in such a wide variety!

Girl. I just paid 40$ for a 4 inch pot of micans. I literally haven't been able to find it & every website that gets them sells out right away so I went to etsy thinking I would he spending like 25 dollars but nope. My wishlists are definitely, pink princess but its my dream plant, Antherium Clairinurvem, flordia ghost because I just have plain ol green flordia & monstera Peru. 🌿💚

Speaking of prices I agree! I’m seeing scindapsus and epepreneums going for 5-10 more than they usually do and it’s kinda upsetting as a new plant owner. Back in May I could get a full plant for $5-10 now when I see them being sold in groups they’re like $15-25 and I’m like whyyyyy they’re fricking pothos ffs!
