Hey guys, i just bought rx 7900xtx yesterday and I'm gonna buy the r9 7950x3d tomorrow. I'm a lil bit worried about my psu being 850w gold. Will it be enough?
I have 2 Corsair RMe power supplies (850 & 1000) in 2 existing computers. They are both older than 3 years & I haven't had any issues with power or noise. Sorry you have had issues because they aren't cheap.
I have 7800x3d and rx 7900 red devil and I have. Bottelneck on my CPU. My g-card works at 100% and my CPU is under 20% in wow dragflight city. So I have big problem. Every info i have read on google everyone say i need upgrade på CPU am AMD 9 7950x3d but from this video i see he have the same problem🤷🏾♂️
It is my understanding that if you add that NVME drive to that top slot. you cut down on the available number of lanes to the GPU because they share the same channel. Can someone verify or correct me please?
No, the nvme drive in the top slot has direct access to the cpu and doesn’t affect pcie lanes. The second slot at the bottom will pull 4 pcie lanes and drop the top pcie slot to an 8x.
FF3D564G6000HC38ADC01 Does my question work for the Ryzen 7000 Series? I found on Amazon that it says Optimized for both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO but in other stores it says only for Intel XMP 3.0
The system is underperforming by a long shot. I have a 5900X and 7900XTX Red devil and i have about the same in Cpu performance, and 15-20% more than your system with the Gpu. your score in timespy is at the very bottom of the stack being over 3000 points behind the average.. the average o.O No DOCP? No Re-size bar? No update bios or windows?

Hi! What program do you use to measure gpu and cpu? And what I can see you have bottelneck on your CPU, your GBU is almost 100% but your CPU i under 40-30%. That meen your g-card works very Hard and your CPU alomst does nothing
The overlay is from MSI Afterburner (works in all pc's) the benchmark is 3D Benchmark. The reason why GPU is having 100% utilization is because he is benchmarking at 4k resolution, when 4k resolution your GPU takes over instead of the CPU. The way to utilize more of your CPU is to lower to 1080p resolution.

So you got the wrong RAM too then huh? This is Intel XMP and should be AMD EXPO. You shouldn't have copied this build.

850W gold is recommended for the 2 combined but if your going to overclock your pc then 1000w gold might be better for you.
can you tell me or with picture where you plug cables for the 3 x 8 pin for gpu into the psu ?
Did you need to do a BIOS Flash for the 7950 X3D?
is the PSU noisy? ive had 3 RMe PSUs and they all had insane coilwhine. later found out they are known to be bad and should be avoided

Can I instead put a Ryzen 9 7950X3D on a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and put the Red Devil version on the RX 7900XTX?

Because i use external ssd for testing pc that’s why its effect on pc performance

RAM frequencies above 6000 are NOT supported with this CPU. Having RAM with XMP for intel CPUs he most likely has RAM at 3200. Please check it.

I did mine with same specs for 2700. Cheaper than top of the line intel, NVIDA
