Thank you so much for this video. I have looked at sooo many videos to wave my new short bob and failed to make it work. But this video is great and I've mastered it now. It really helps to tuck away the hair not needed and to start half way up the hair strand to wave it. Thanks for posting

I usually never leave comments on anything but I needed to come here and say how amazing this tip is! My hair is naturally straight and on the thicker side so finding a curling method that doesn't look disproportionately smooth on top and too big on the bottom has been challenging. I cut my hair to a shorter length every so often and still struggle. I tried this skeptical that it would really look good and I promise you it does and I've decided to do my hair like this from now on. So simple, quick, and natural looking thank you so much!!

Can’t wait to try this! The fact that you don’t curl the bottom half of the hair, I think it will help my situation a lot. I always had a hard time curling the bottom half, especially the very very short hair at the back of my head. Will try this later!

hey! it’s just a straight blunt haircut, no layers. i suggest searching for “blunt short hair” pictures on pinterest and save a bunch that you like and show them to your hairstylist :)
I do think big curls look weird I’m not really good at styling my hair for some reason and when I tried to curl my short hair it just looked weird the curls were just a nono. I’m gonna try this out

i got it a few years ago from shein!!
My friend that does hair recommend putting sprays on your fingers and run through your hair. That way you don't get too much spray by accident (Hair wax spray)
I used to have long hair then I wanted it short, Then quarintine came to where I could only cut off a couple inches, which was medium length, and I got it curly again finnally like a month ago. I can tell my hair hygeine changed cause when I had short hair it wasnt curly now my hair is very wavy, and now my arm hurts from typing :)

What temperature do you let your curling iron get to? I have settings for 140, 160 and 180 degrees on mine and I tried 140/160 and it looks a little weird haha
start with a lower temperature if your unsure and if it doesn't do much then you can slowly and gradually go up to see which setting works best for you

i have very frizzy hair so should i do this after my hair has dried from showering or when its wet?
Fully dried and i recommend straightening your hair before or at least blow drying your roots so they’re smooth!
