Really don’t stress “getting good” at making music because the journey there is the ocean of creativity. 20 years from now, you’ll cruise to this tune and realize how perfect it was all this time. The lost sessions are the most charming. Thanks for sharing your heart, history, and creativity with us. Very inspirational. We need more skateboarders to promote mental/physical wellness.
Even watching him talk about all his projects and time management is stressing me out! Though It seems he is able to channel that anxiety into his creative output to great effect. Glad to see he is doing yoga and breathing exercises to manage that side of himself. Wish him luck and longevity in all his endeavours.
Despite all his success and the fact that his Dad was also a pro skater, Alex seems quite down to earth. I lived in Bali for a while and that breathing is v popular there. Good to see him doing well still, one of my fav parts in Fully Flared back in the day (my first time I saw him)
I got my first complete at Rip City too. Toy Machine Devil Cat with Grind Kings, Bones, and these cool green wheels. I loved the woody smell of skate shops.
Fuck I literally dropped my whole life to watch this as soon as I saw it posted ! Biggest fan Alex, don’t doubt your abilities brother you’re amazing. X
@@Baine98 Koston went off on him a few years ago because he blasted skateboarding for being bought by corporations, yet meanwhile he's literally on the biggest corporate takeover company in skateboarding, Nike. @@ss3shit lmao, you clearly haven’t seen any of his video parts / videos he’s been in, the board company he helped create, his sponsors recognition? Give credit where credit is due. What do you get props for?
I really relate here. Ive been writing rap lyrics, poems, since i was about 14, had ableton since i was 17, been making and sharing some tunes the past year. I really wish to channel all my energy into this. But i love skateboarding so much. I felt like I needed a break and i stopped a couple weeks ago and I really miss it. Don't know. Maybe I could do both passions and make it work. Or maybe I cant. One always take away from the other.
you know what all the years i have been watching you i did not realize but yes for damn sure you skate just like the old heads and thats what make this shit awesome
A rare sighting of Alex Olsen finally graces the skate world once more.
Thank heavens
Blessed be
Just when you thought Alex couldn’t get any crazier, he goes and totally redeems himself 😂
*TOOOOOOTTTAAALLLYYYY
Welp, the Title does say OUT THERE. LOL
man the audio levels on this video are all over the damn place
The beginning ocean waves were blasting in my headphones and as soon as Alex speak he's nearly inaudible.
Just as well, they talk alot of shit
in a way it kinda reflects alex doncha tink so?
Always refreshing to see someone be honest and be themselves.
"...cuz you're my friend, and I want to skate with you, forever..." BA gonna make me cry chill out
That lil shrug too
The BA shit creeped me tf out seems gay af.

i think he just meant get good at surfing
Alex Olson has become the ultimate Wes Anderson character and I love it.
LMAO ALL I COULD THINK ABOUT
the lost wilson brother
@@dylanjordan4747 Yeah. He's been looking more and more like Dennis Wilson since 917's decline.
Damn, well done Waylon. Footage from 2018, 3 years in the making! Congratulations, can't wait for the next one.
Rest in peace, Dylan
my god, he straight up pulled out a 808 all dusty like it was my ps1, big flex my man
Alex Olson has one of the very best styles on a skateboard ever.
Love how the best gift he got was a tape from crob 😂😂
Crob is the man
Ol buddies! 🤘
The perfect mix tape. A truly great gift.
that's so dope tho
I asked for an autograph on a toy machine tour when he was flow. He said “why, I’m just some little shit”.
thats the most olson response ever lol did he give you the auto?
@Purrington Wiskerton even as a kid?
@Purrington Wiskerton get over yourself ya pube
@Purrington Wiskerton imagine telling a kid he is pathetic bc he wants an autograph lol
The credit song was actually pretty sick!!
Where can I find it?
When skating finally drops the whole image thing, it'll go to a new level not thought of yet.
Be Obsessed or Be Average! Alex you are a true inspiration. Thank you 🙏
To my eye, his footage is always perfect.
yes! I landed on Olsons IG this morning and was thinking man.. I miss Olson footy.. low and behold I see this 24 minute beauty
Zoolander vibes with Tibetan monks and modeling.
Hansel is so hot right now. 😂

Alex really doesn't like getting sick huh he even mentions hating getting sick on the crail couch
One of my favorite styles in skateboarding history
Love to see he’s still exploring and ripping!
I took a nap and had a dream about hanging out with Alex and Steve and then I woke up and this was out. Psychic link confirmed
Happy to see Alex Olson content
Rubbish heap was my first skate vid too . Such a memorable video
Always admired his career and outlook on it. Still remember him shredding that mini-ramp on Epicly Later’d
One of my favourite skaters
22:27 that pretty much sums up my life too. Endless ideas, but not enough time to take all of them from the imagination into the world.
Alex is one of a kind and I love that about him. His music sounds sick too

Yeah but he be doing those stomach vacuums so it all works out
no shut he needs to detox that room. Hysterical he's doing this stuff in that dirty ass room! 🤣🤣🤣
This is why girls don’t date skaters

song at the end was sick. good shit alex
That music at the end was so good
great to see this! love the tunes Alex!
amazing style. reminds me of a Reese Forbes and Julien Stranger.
Ever since CHERRY I've tried to follow Olsen, super sick skater
I mean I really love alex but I would love him even more if this was actually him doing a impression of a modern new age surfer artist guy
he’s just having fun what’s wrong with that
you know you secretly want to be it too
this looks quite healthier in comparison to these skate movies where you always see skater smooking weed, drinking beer and yowling around ...
He’s is the earths hidden skateboard species but whatever knowledge and style we get to see we love that shit love Olson for life
I dono why, but i revisit this video at least once a year lol. Alex is just so captivating and interesting
So this is what was keeping him from running 917 properly
Crazy how he learned how to channel spirits from Shirley Ghostman with that breathing
