This CAL is SO perfectly timed, for me! My daughter is expecting my FIRST GRANDBABY, and I have been torn on which wonderful blanket to make. This is it!
After seeing the CAL when it first came out I loved it. Your videos made me love it more. So I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and got the yarn. I'm a girly girl. As a kid I loved rainbows, hearts and unicorns. The little girl in me got excited over this blanket. She titled it perfect Unicorn Dreams. I also bought her squares for her Unicorn Dreams Pillow.
I can't wait to see all of your videos. Scrolling through them took my breath away. They are beautiful and my grandbabies love anything rainbow and pastels. Looks like i'll be buying more yarn. Thank you for sharing.

I like the heart balloons for the first...interesting but not too intimidating to get started. Some folks might be turned off by ones that have a lot of parts to sew on. Once one has invested the time to make an easier one, it will be more enticing to tackle the more detailed ones! My youngest possible recipient is almost 11 so I'm wondering if I can get away with making this for her or put it in my hope chest for little ones yet to be. It looks like SO MUCH FUN & whomever is lucky enougj to receive these will surely know they are very much loved!! Thank you for doing this! I love your tutorials!
That is actually an incredibly brilliant idea - I think you are 100% spot on with your thought process re: heart balloon squares! I vote make it for yourself if you daughter (like mine) deems it too girly! 😂

Lol no need to apologise! Ok right so, I'm not filming all the squares because some are not Lisa's patterns and I haven't sought permission from the other designers to film their squares too so I'm just filming Lisa's ones (as it stands at the moment 😀) Lisa hasn't finished releasing all the patterns yet which is why you can't find unicorn based ones - she's releasing them over a 8 week period (I think today is week 6?) There are still more to come! Once all the squares have been released on her blog, then it'll be the joining 👍 I'm massively behind the release schedule purely because of the other projects I had on at the same time so my videos will be slowly released over the next couple of months (or maybe sooner, depends on how quickly I can get things filmed) 👍 I hope that clears everything up! Xx
