Asus fails to say on the instructions or website that the are rubber caps covering the holes, it looked like it was solid and you needed sharp self tapping screws, so this video just saved my a lot of time.
im legally blind and have been trying to figure out how to put a arm mount on my desk for about 3 days, everybody seems to have a clip they have to mount that the monitor sets in, but your video clearly showed me the plate i was given for my AVLT Ultra Wide Monitor arm , you screw it in to the monitor like it looks! no one else showed that....everyone else had a monitor with a clip and reading all kinda of paperwork never cleared it up. THANK YOU THANK YOU i thought i was missign a part or something i had to buy ect..thanks
hey im just wondering if like the screws on the back of the monitor change sizes, what I mean is like the four holes at the back at the monitor, and I have a 60hz LG monitor, im just wondering will it work?
A lot of monitors don’t have the vesa mounts. If it doesn’t, no worries. All you would need at that point is a vesa adapter which you attach to the mounting arm and allows your monitor to be clamped from the top and bottom instead of screwed into the back
Since my monitors are not the same i think I'll put my other monitor on portrait display so that it doesn't look annoying like yours not having the same level
Hey not sure if you already figured this out but you will need to buy a vesa adapter which instead of screwing into the back of your monitor it will clamp onto the top and bottom of it. This is an attachment that you buy that will attach onto any monitor mount
i’m going to be buying one of these from a friend but he doesn’t have the screws to attach to the monitors. how do i know which are the right screws the get?
Pls someone I need help. I wanna buy a dual stand but don’t wanna waste my money, I just want to ask if every monitor stand comes with alternative attachments
Can you put a monitor on a arm or mount it on a wall with a stand already attached to the monitor? Cause I'm trying to find 24inch monitors that aren't that expensive that don't have a stand under it already and I can't find any.
Most stands will cause issues for the arms or completely block access to the vesa mounting holes. However, 90% of monitors allow you to remove the stand and often come in the box already dismantled. I would buy one and simply not attach the stand to it
All mounts are compatible with all monitors that fit the weight and vesa size. Most monitors will have a vesa mount of 75x75 mm or 100x100 mm. I would look up your monitor specs on google to find out what vesa size it has and how much it weighs. Then go on Amazon and find a monitor mount that fits those requirements
Hey bro I just checked and yes. It is compatible the xf251q has a 100x100 mm and the maximum capacity of this vesa mount is 100x100 mm. I hope it works for you
Yes, if it doesn’t have holes on the back then all you need to do is buy a vesa adapter which you screw into the monitor mount and it will allow you to hold the monitor up by clamping the top and bottom instead of screwing it into the back
Most monitor arms allow for tilt and swivel which allows for adjustments in landscape or portrait view for your monitor. The monitor mount should tel you if it’s capable of that
Look at the one in the description he is using and what the weight capacity is, and also no matter what it won't work without the four hole in the back
You will need a VESA adapter. This is a clamp that you attach to your monitor mount and will allow your monitor to be clamped from the top and bottom instead of being screwed in from the back. Search it up on Amazon to find out what I’m talking about

Following, I’m curious as well
Use steal support plates to widen the surface area pressure

Do all monitors have those 4 holes in the back?
Most moniters do
A lot of monitors don’t have the vesa mounts. If it doesn’t, no worries. All you would need at that point is a vesa adapter which you attach to the mounting arm and allows your monitor to be clamped from the top and bottom instead of screwed into the back
@@KreativeKyle you are an actual life saver
When putting in the mount screws you have to do it by hand? Is that gonna be tight enough?
I don't think so
I would recommend using a tool so the screws are right but not too tight to break anything
How many times did he say mountain screw
the screws i got does not fully flush in when installing it into the monitor, any fixes?
