    Love your videos and commentary! Would love to see a detailed breakdown of your side-smash, knee-cut A/B system. I really appreciate not just the explanation of what you are doing right, but also highlighting the mistakes your partner makes that provide the correct situation for executing a specific move.

    Thx for showing correct or incorrect examples in secondary windows, super helpful. Often instructors only say it, leaving audience to visualize. Same happened when I started watching Danaher, he would pause what he was saying to twll the camera to come around, allowing audience to see directly rather than visualize due to visual obstruction. These video techniques are excellent for visual learners and memorization, and allows for correct drilling rather than having to speculate if something is right. There’s no substitute for in-person training, but I find good videos allows for concept and positional drilling alone at home between classes. As always, thx so much for sharing 🙏🏻

      my goto is the knee cut. slide your knee over their thigh near their knee for the extra leverage. biggest problem is remembering to get the under hook on the far side. i used to rush and do like a knee slide but stop with your staple their bottom leg and then work on the underhook. also look into the leg weave pass. iyou smash their legs like he did in this one but you pass to either side depending no which way they try to push your head. tkae the path of least resistance

    Underhooks are KING especially in no gi, you can improvise many grips in the gi to serve control like an underhook but nothing like that exists in no gi so the underhook rules as the positional control grip as well as to escape from bad bottom positions

    • @JordanTeachesJiujitsu
      @JordanTeachesJiujitsu  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      So true. The grips are so limited in nogi. Underhooks are truly king 👑
