I have this Aluminum part I need to machine: drilling, pocketing, face milling. It has around 150 dimensions I need to measure (part is about 150 x 1000 x 1000mm). I am looking for a video comparison between Faro Arm and Creaform scanner. Please share your thoughts about this comparison
If you are 3D scanning the whole vehicle then the HandySCAN MAX is the best. If you are just doing areas like the front, mirrors, around the wheels, etc then they all do a great job.
@@signprintdesign3954 Sure you can use the peel 3 but it will require a lot of targets, scanning spray on many surfaces and time to scan (3 - 5 hours). The HandySCAN MAX will do it in 1 hour with few targets and no scanning spray and be more much more accurate.
this is the best content on #D scaning, Thankyou for taking the time to produce the videos
No problem. We enjoy educating people interested in 3D Scanning.

Creaform is going to be much faster, more accurate, especially on larger parts, easier to use and much more portable.
that beat at the start goes hard, whats it called?
Also great review :)
What’s best for vehicle wraps/ paint protection?
