I wish Elden ring’s powerstance worked like Ds2’s so I could choose to powerstance or not Unpowerstanced dual crescent moon scythes alternating light attacks could stun a lot of enemies into oblivion even if bleed did suck in ds2
Something I feel should be pointed out is that according to the wiki there are 2 types of blood loss that can be afflicted that are slightly different. Both types have the same max hp scaling, however: The first type of blood loss has 100 base damage(which is added to the max hp scaling) and is found on all non-unique infusable weapons that have innate bleed, weapons with the blood affinity(only if the weapon being infused doesn't have innate bleed though), unique, non-infusable weapons with innate bleed BUT with NO INNATE ARCANE SCALING, and any other source of bleed that I don't mention. The other type has 200 base damage, and is found on all unique bleed weapons that have innate arcane scaling(and hoslow's petal whip, for some reason, despite said weapon being an infusable smithing stone weapon with no innate arcane scaling if you don't infuse it), and weapons with innate bleed infused with blood affinity. +100 damage per proc probably won't make that much of a difference, at least on bosses or high-hp enemies in general, but I suppose it helps.
Huh. Not super helpful but good to know. Maybe we'll get a third, better type of bleed with the dlc. Like poison, deadly poison, rot. Like a rotting bleed.
@@pbabiesinspace6112 While, I think this is a cool concept. I don't believe that will ever happen because depending on which two statuses it inflicts it can either be the most broken weapon in the whole game or the most dogshit weapon in the whole game.
I started a bloodhound fang build the other day and planned on getting a second curved GS when i had the chance to power stance. The ash was so insane i said "why bother?" and 15 minutes later i was in mountaintop of the giants and i was basically finished. It helps that you can get it to +9 super fast.
I mained BHF in my 1st NG after midgame (replaced Moonveil) and carried me to the end. Despite using OP weapons for my other characters like Death's Poker, Blasphemous Blade, Dark Moon Greatsword, and Bolt of Gransax, I couldn't help switching back to BHF in my 7th NG.

the reason the Ghiza's Wheel bugs out is because of hit stun, or whatever it's called when your character pauses mid hit so that the attack feels like there's resistance against it. Because of how often the attack hits it keeps pausing the animation, the same problem exists with the Ornamental Straight Swords' special heavy attack, and in the past the initial flame of the Ghostflame Ignition skill had the same issue so they removed hit stun from it
Eleonora's Poleblade is easily S tier because it can rip Malenia to shreds. That is my only criteria for S tier. It is fantastic on everything else too, and super fun power stanced.
I agree it's S but basing that solely on being able to fold her with it is wild lol. I know it's a hard boss for the average player but there are SO MANY ways to bully her if you don't apply unnecessary challenges to yourself and experiment a bit
Eleonora’s poleblade, blood exultation, Millicent prosthesis, winged insignia, and godskin swaddling cloth is usually what I roll up to malenia with and she gets absolutely bullied, especially if you decide to pull out the mimic tear I did that and the mimic not only took a full waterfowl, but it started taking back some of the health it lost with bloodblade dance
@@xenocross6597 I should have been more specific in my post because i absolutely found the weapon to be S tier all through the game AND it has the benefit of shredding Malenia. Either one handed, two handed or power stanced, the moveset is so versatile and is an absolute delight to use even though, numbers wise, it isn't the most powerful out there.
@@ShadowNemesis575 My biggest "bullying" Malenia setup I've tried so far has been the Marai's Executioners Sword, the Ash of War absolutely shreds her up and just stunlocks her in place... If you use a mimic tear or play coop you can just take turns spamming the ash of war and she won't even be able to get any attacks off... Then put a black knife and reduvia in your back pockets and that way you can abuse her phase transition as well, just spam projectiles from outside the flower. You can basically have her below half health before she's even ready in phase 2 which just pushes her straight into doing another one of the flower attacks leaving even more room for reduvia spam...

Also notable weapons although not bleed innately are banished knight's halberd the one from edgar will help you kill almost 80% invades till midgame in factory condition.
I'm just going to mildly defend the Nightrider's Flail because having a bleeding dex-based weapon that you can drop Lion's Claw on IS a good time to be had Hand of Malenia - Just make it buffable. Easy Eleonora's - Deffo S on my book. The long animation risk on the Ash of War is mitigated by the evasive second swing so you can still be pretty bold with it. You can pair it with another twinblade and jump attack when windows are smaller
Hmmm, I think you undersold Eleonora's here, by basing your opinion largely on how it performed in an AoW only run. Its strength I think comes from its diverse moveset. The first light attack (standing and running) comes out so fast and staggers, the charged heavy hit so many times. Combine those with the AoW, and you get a well-rounded S tier weapon. Of course it will underperform if you only use its AoW.
Bloody helice is my favorite bleed weapon and probably my favorite weapon in general, at least it's up there with the godskin peeler. The Bloody helice also has probably one of the best dodges in the entire game with a low FP cost that you can use it in rapid succession and the invincibility frames are crazy good, the fact that you get this weapon from killing a sanguine noble (which are easy as hell to kill) in a "ruin dungeon" is an absolute steal. The only downside to the bloody helice is that it's a skill weapon, meaning it takes some skill to be able to effectively pull off some of the insane maneuvers that it can do and to effectively use it's ash of war.
I appreciate the video. Lots of information as I'm doing a dex/arcane build next... but hot damn I've never seen anyone's voice match thier looks more than you lmao.
I think I'd still take Eleonara's Poleblade if I was serious about blood loss. It deals so many hits in such a short time, and even though opponents get more resistant to blood loss attempts, I still seem to continuously bleed the likes of Malenia. It's about as good for blood loss as powerstanced curved swords, with the advantage of a weapon art that leaps you forward with a high stagger uninterruptable attack. I guess like with any weapon class, the more you like and use that type the better the individual weapons seem overall. Twinblades take some getting used to, since they light attack like a powerstance and heavy attack like a two-handed weapon. They need a lot of stamina.
Eleonora’s poleblade is honestly better at bleed than rivers at this point in time lol Like I tried to use rivers of blood on fire giant recently No dice, eleonora’s poleblade? Fucking shredded it
Yea Elanora's is def top tier. My fav weapon on the game. Stuns bloodloss and a way to escape following attacks. Def can carry you through the whole game
@@MamaTrixxieAsmr rivers of blood still shreds as long as you make sure you're close enough to where the actual blade hits the enemy and not just the bloody slash part... Regardless, I've probably had the most success with bleed builds by using stuff like the gargoyle's twinblades, slap on blood affinity on those with a strength/arcane build and you're deleting fools with jump attacks...
The Halo Scythe is so dang good that I even forgot it was a bleed weapon because it’s bleed abilities are like the 3rd best thing about it😂. Was just watching this to pass the time, not expecting to see my favorite weapon appear and boom it makes the S tier 😤
I love how the Utchi katana is placed 13th. Auspicious number in Western society as unlucky and considered Lucky in Eastern Society Such a simple, elegant and killer choice.
With maxed out stats the Uchigitana does like 5 more damage than the Nagakiba so not significant at all, you’re better off using the Nagakiba pretty much every time
Hitting blade part of corpse piler does more blood loss build up than nagakiba or uchigatana with double slash. The 75 blood loss build up in rob is only for the normal attacks
I am surprised no twinblades were mentioned. I think they have the highest number multi-hit jump attack (6). They excel at bleed, multi-hit/chain stacking dmg and jump builds as well. Raptors chest with Varres mask, rotten insignia + Millicent's prosthesis + claw talisman + blood exultation makes twinblade powerstance great at status buildup and overall dmg output.
Have you tried a poison+bleed executioner greataxe build? Idk why but ive found it so effectice, think ita become my fav build. Poison mist with mushroom head, poison + bleed exultation talismans. Dmg is kinda low initally but once you proc poison and bleed it gets ridiculous lol Done it at lvl 138, but it really shines at like lvl 200 with 60in str and arcane.
Bandits curved arcane build dual wield and i melt Boss health bars on new game plus 4 seppuka on both golden vow or your choice of buffs but with rotten sword claw and white mask with raptor feathers is just insane 80 arcane and 80 strength works out much better for bleed builds in my opinion you just have to be high level.
I keep hearing "parreing isnt good" from people who've never actually parried. Heres an idea, actually try it, you'll find it embarrasses most parryable bosses like Morgott and dragonic sentinel. I guess actually putting in the work to see if something is viable is too much work
Blood warped axe at 60 strength and 25 arcane using spinning slash bleed affinity gives passive bleed of 104 and two handed AR of 643. I beat the entire game using it and got the weapon at hour 26! and used regular C tier hero battle axe for first third of my spinning slash blood warped axe build.
It's interessing to see a optimized ranking video. I have a way more visual/animation point of view. I don't like japaneese style or edgelord style weapon so for me all katana and scythe are bottom tier, I don't like also all the big monster hunter like weapon so I took down all heavy or colossal weapon (except the zweihander who is an historical weapon but no bleed so out of context). For the animation style I think moveset and power stance moveset fluidity is more important than efficiancy, so I put Hoslow petal whip above spears because whip's power stance looks prettier than spear's one, and I also put Eleonora's poleblade in S tier because of both moveset and ash of war moveset who are so gorgeous.
Scavenger curved swords is Superior you would build the Bandits more with Flame Art Infusion and flaming striktes aow. But with bleed they can still be okay thats what i did in my First playthrough
Hello. Im currently in mid game i have to defeat malenia and others.. Should i use bloodhounds or rivers of blood katana? Which one should i upgrade max
I'd do bloodhounds since it's less reliant on its weapon art and curved greatswords can knock her out of many attacks, as well as just being more fun in my opinion. Either can do fine though, so just pick what you want.
Bloodhound fang is known to be very strong from day 1 lol. I literally picked it up like 1hr into day1 of the game and in 5 minutes i knew i had a winner in my hands
Moonveil is top best weapon my fav katana after ROB nerf also great for posture break build I've made with my mage Glintblade Phalanx on Misericorde and RockSling I manage to posture break all and I mean all the bosses even the Elden Beast. Only wish is that Moonveil has frost and not bleed that would be so great.
Spiked Caestus should be S tier because it's a lot better than the Star Fist when Occult infused at 80 Arcane: -Occult Star Fist > 475 AR, 78 Bleed -Occult Spiked Caestus > 465 AR, 88 Bleed You only lose 10 AR but get a lot more bleed! Also, you get more bleed than if you used Bloodflame Blade on either weapon! Star Fist is outclassed on occult builds, but I agree it's the best choice on STR ones Still, IMO the occult Spiked Caestus is the best fist weapon in the game. Because of lighter weight and endure, you can make a really stupid Blue Dancer setup with consecutive talismans and Lord of Blood's exultation, with only passive buffs you can get to over 1000AR on just fists!
The speed of which the heavy attacks come out is what makes the star fist so good. Even if it had less damage than the caestus it would still be better
Spinning Slash in particular is a 3 hit skill with 100%-100%-100% status motion values making it one of the best options for bleed builds as other multihit ashes have reduced bleed buildup on each hit.
Spinning slash maybe but those aren’t very good weapon arts for pve. You’d probably be better off going with stormcaller or wild strikes for that type of weapon both can be used on Great Stars
@@grimreefer213 I played a bit with Stormcaller on greathammers. I'm not a huge fan, Spinning Slash has more poise damage (33poise on small weapons, 28 on big weapons I think), better status buildup and you can actually cancel it after the first hit. Wild strikes is great, but it doesn't really have a good stance break so you would rather want to use it on the Omenkiller which is longer and does more damage than the Great Stars tho the healing effect is nice on the Great Stars.
Heres some engagement for the algorithm Youre off your rocker for putting those overrated ass slow ass bad stance pressure ass mediocre range for a polearm ass Reapers so high. I've used these weapons too, and Flamberge/Eleanora/Uchi clears all those farming tools all day erry day. Decent moveset my ass, those R2s take 7-10 business days to come out, you almost do more stance pressure just spamming R1s. The R1s are like okay, but still kinda slow so the damage really isnt show stopping. The jump and running attacks are... A thing, I guess? Like, there's just really nothing uniquely good about these things. Goes around shields? Almost nothing relevant uses a shield. Range? The majority of polearms are longer, the Nagakiba is longer, the Heavy Thrusting Swords are longer, the best Curved Greatswords are longer. I cannot think of a single reason to use a Grave Scythe over half this list other than "I just want to" Rant over. Grave Scythe looks cool, but that shit is MID if Im being Santa Claus level generous

Eleonora’s poleblade is honestly better at bleed than rivers at this point in time lol
Like I tried to use rivers of blood on fire giant recently
No dice, eleonora’s poleblade? Fucking shredded it
Yea Elanora's is def top tier. My fav weapon on the game. Stuns bloodloss and a way to escape following attacks. Def can carry you through the whole game
@@MamaTrixxieAsmr rivers of blood still shreds as long as you make sure you're close enough to where the actual blade hits the enemy and not just the bloody slash part... Regardless, I've probably had the most success with bleed builds by using stuff like the gargoyle's twinblades, slap on blood affinity on those with a strength/arcane build and you're deleting fools with jump attacks...
Twinblades are king
Varre bouquet with sleep grease in pvp will never not be funny
The Halo Scythe is so dang good that I even forgot it was a bleed weapon because it’s bleed abilities are like the 3rd best thing about it😂. Was just watching this to pass the time, not expecting to see my favorite weapon appear and boom it makes the S tier 😤
I have not watched it, but i'll assume varres bouquet is low?
I love how the Utchi katana is placed 13th. Auspicious number in Western society as unlucky and considered Lucky in Eastern Society Such a simple, elegant and killer choice.
I swear you’re a king, anything id like to find ranked for ER, I can find here. Best Elden ring content creator. So high rn forgive my gramma.
With maxed out stats the Uchigitana does like 5 more damage than the Nagakiba so not significant at all, you’re better off using the Nagakiba pretty much every time
Better off using nagakiba anyways cause the range lol
Inquisitor should've been a unique skill-buffed weapon that applies bloodflame until it's stowed or otherwise unequipped
I only ranked the weapons that have innate bleed
@@youwyWell you missed Elenoras then broski. Should easily be at the top of the list or close to it
eleonoras is on the list@@joed5150
@@joed5150was a tier
11:43 Hoslow’s Petal Whip is one of like 3 weapons you can get more than one of per NG cycle, YTer out here spreading misinformation.
Bloody helice will always be one of my favorite weapons it’s good for PvP and pve lol
Have you tried a poison+bleed executioner greataxe build? Idk why but ive found it so effectice, think ita become my fav build.
Poison mist with mushroom head, poison + bleed exultation talismans. Dmg is kinda low initally but once you proc poison and bleed it gets ridiculous lol
Done it at lvl 138, but it really shines at like lvl 200 with 60in str and arcane.
so happy raid shadow legends finally gets the recognition it deserves 💪
Flails have one very good thing : the heavy attack on horseback, juste stand still and hold r2 it does tremendous bleed buildup
What about the best poison / rot weapons?
I personally rank hand of malenia s-tier because it takes care of 80% of invaders by itself without much effort from me
Put bloodflame on bloodhound claws, and it's S+ tier
Hello, do you have a build for the twinned knight sword? It looks super cool and it seems to be good.
Very nicely done list!! Subscribed!
I keep hearing "parreing isnt good" from people who've never actually parried. Heres an idea, actually try it, you'll find it embarrasses most parryable bosses like Morgott and dragonic sentinel. I guess actually putting in the work to see if something is viable is too much work
Best dodge = Roll
Missed Parry = Free Hit
People who can parry reliably all the time are sad virgins who have too much time on their hands , no one is impressed buddy
bro you were ranking these things literally the other day you put this video out so fast
Im watching this video only to see the sponsorship; bro its so good im so proud of u yusef.
Can you do this for all damage types? Specifically cold and rot
Nagakiba plus Blood Blade kills anything that can bleed very quickly.
appreciate the video ranking instead of the shorts video series
Occult Powerstanced Flamberges are disgustingly good.
This video made me bust at work.
have you done an entire build with like the black blade incantation and maliketh's black blade weapon
The ads for other games is not why I'm here
It's interessing to see a optimized ranking video.
Is Bandits curved swords power stanced with bleed still good?
Scavenger curved swords is Superior you would build the Bandits more with Flame Art Infusion and flaming striktes aow. But with bleed they can still be okay thats what i did in my First playthrough
Dual Blood Bandit's Curved Swords with Seppuku are OP. They proc bleed so fast and do more damage than the Scavengers or Shamshir.
@@LabyrinthMolethey don’t do more damage 💀
@@deontookflight317 +25 Blood Bandit's is just a little higher at 242 AR vs. Blood Shamshir at 221 AR.
The warped great axe with no natural bleed is the best bleed qeapon in the game to me tbh
Dude, congrats on the lucrative sponsor!
Nagakiba, double slash aow and bloodflame incantation destroys everything on this list
Love to see the Bloodhound Fang getting the love it deserves. I'm dual wielding these bad boys in my NG+ and I'm just melting everything so far.
Bloodhound fang is known to be very strong from day 1 lol. I literally picked it up like 1hr into day1 of the game and in 5 minutes i knew i had a winner in my hands
Fun fact: the sword of milos shares its unique heave with the death's poker
@charleshastings7260 oh yeah. I think I saw lost mess around with that combo
ROB is still a top tier weapon idk why it’s so low. Sure it isn’t broken anymore but it should be an A or S right before the nag
Bloodflame blade with blood tax on some of these is amazing
I thought the godskin peeler inflicted bloodloss too, no?
I can't believe Fromsoft made itchy balls one of the strongest weapon in the game
Spiked Caestus should be S tier because it's a lot better than the Star Fist when Occult infused at 80 Arcane:
-Occult Star Fist > 475 AR, 78 Bleed
-Occult Spiked Caestus > 465 AR, 88 Bleed
You only lose 10 AR but get a lot more bleed! Also, you get more bleed than if you used Bloodflame Blade on either weapon! Star Fist is outclassed on occult builds, but I agree it's the best choice on STR ones
Still, IMO the occult Spiked Caestus is the best fist weapon in the game.
I was literally just looking for this list last night, Youwy FOR THE WIN!!
Same lol 😂
17:02 while flailing his arms like an untrained street brawler 😂
Uchiha > Naga. This little bit of range is overrated, and with the new great katanas out, Naga is simply dated
best bleed weapons without a doubt are two twinblades with jump attack spam. Literally hits 6 times. nothing even comes close.
Mohg’s Sacred Spear is so fun to use
Claws would go so hard in this game if they played like claws and fists do in Nioh 2
I give you a like for dedication. Impressive work!
Amazing info honestly helped but no cap You're an actual dork for advertising Raid Shadow legends.
Where spiky shield
Have you guys heard of Raid shadow legends?
you can get 2 petal whips
Flame art uchigatana w/ double slash is lightyears better than RoB
I got Two Hollow Whips in ONE Playthrough !
Wheres the omen cleavers i remember them inflicting bleed
bloody helice is my favorite
Powerstance reduvia? Kinda Op
Nah man! I love my Giant-Crusher! The biggest of the BIG bonks 😂
I really love the flower weapon. It looks great. Could use some unique abilities, but otherwise, I don't know why you're shitting on its look.
I'm trying to get a bleed weapon to put frost ash of war on
Nagakiba, cross naginata, star fist (probably not as good as star fist with cragblade)
Doo-doo trash is now part of my lexicon
17:40 Unlike the Great Stars the Omenkiller is infusable with Spinning Slash and Sword Dance which is big pro.
@@grimreefer213 Prayful strike on great stars is funny as well
@@grimreefer213 I played a bit with Stormcaller on greathammers.
Heres some engagement for the algorithm
Youre off your rocker for putting those overrated ass slow ass bad stance pressure ass mediocre range for a polearm ass Reapers so high. I cannot think of a single reason to use a Grave Scythe over half this list other than "I just want to"
Rant over. Grave Scythe looks cool, but that shit is MID if Im being Santa Claus level generous
🌸 last place calling it
i havent watched it yet but #1 better be VYKE'S WAR SPEAR
GRAVE SCYTHE ENTHUSIASTS:
THE RUNNING R2 IS A GTEAT ROLL CATCH TO THE RUNNING R2 LMAO
I miss the godskin peeler :)
Idk i like flails, I think their pretty underrated
I thought bouquet was pretty nice for pvp, just me though.
Great stars taking Ws
These videos are so good
Nothing beats double godskin peelers coming to bleed😊
How many times have you played this game 😱
