The Drac Tree Sentinel Arcane only and the Gideon fist only are the few times I go wait Gino is a human after all
Drac Tree Monster is way tougher than most bosses in the game.
@Morbid_Muppet no lol, but when youve got a +3 weapon that is basically useless against him & zero vigor he becomes a monster.
Their are many bosses significantly harder with underlevelled weapons & no vigor,
The Nightriders(specially glaive varients), Malenia, Radagon+elden, Dual crucible knights heros grave/crucible knights in general, Mohg(palace varient), literally every Revenant in the game, the very bottom of the haligtree is infested, even the variants of the very first boss you encounter in the game are much more challenging.
Draconian hits hard, but his attacks are slow & predictable.

Reminds me of of of my favorite runs that I ever did: all 165 bosses, region locked, new weapon after every Remembrance. It's how I discovered that Bolt of Gransax in Mountaintops is incredible against pretty much everything there, except the Night Cavalry. That bastard is just hard to hit.

The weapon art on bloody helice is probably my favorite in the game. Absolutely obliterates malenia without much effort
Sadly, no bloodflame incantations scale with arc. He neutured his blood loss value for half of his run because he used it instead of greases. They should scale at least a bit instead of nothing imo.
Bloodflame blade at least doesnt need to scale with arc, its actually better that way. The incant works by applying a flat 40 bleed (over time) every single hit, which stacks additively regardless of how fast its applied. This means its ridiculously broken on fast weapons like claws, and more dissapointing on slower weapons.
@@dragonviper7925 also allows strong bleed buildup on weapons that have innate bleed while still allowing you to go for better upfront damage infusions such as heavy or keen. Essentially allowing you to go for a bleed setup without locking yourself into it
@@fabianschultz yup thats worth mentioning too, also since it doesnt scale off arc it can be used on any build, which is why bloodflame claws are so strong since you can just pump damage while getting ridiculous bleed on top
@@dragonviper7925 to my understanding the over time doesn't increase per hit, but resets to the full value (2 seconds of affect) per hit.

I mean, if it was going to be any run where you would get the octopus helmet I guess it would be the one where you're pumping item discovery.
This is honestly one of the things that bothers me the most about Elden Ring, that item discovery is tied to a stat that's actually specifically useful for certain builds. It basically just puts a farming stat tax on anyone who's not doing an arcane build, and anyone with an arcane build is going to have a much much easier time farming items than anybody who's not. I don't understand what was so wrong with having it tied to a stat like luck, where it was basically the same amount of useful regardless of your class, and you pretty much only ever put points into it if you needed to boost your item discovery. Also fuck them for putting the item discovery talisman so late in the game, it's absolutely insane. It almost seems like fromsoft is trying to force you into not item farming until NG+ (unless you have an arcane build.)
@@Manigeitora Luck also increased bleed and poison build up. And anyways, I don’t really think most people need to farm for weapons on a first playthrough (even more so if your doing it blind). And if you really want a specific weapon, you can always just head to nokron to get a bunch of larval tears and briefly respec to arc

The first Gargoyle door I ever opened was the one with the Turtle talisman. I was thrown off when I opened it and seen a room full of turtles and a bunch of messages from players that all just said "dog!" Lol.
You got me to enjoy the game PvE again. I dropped this game after 6 different characters, but your variety builds made me interested in giving it a shot without being too serious about it. Thanks, Gino! You just earned another sub.

Gino something to note about the ripple blade and ripple crescent halberd, both work better with blood grease rather than bloodflame blade, I dont know exactly why that is but yeah (dunno if you get greases in this video and I just sound dumb rn but whatever)

It's because blood grease bleed build up scales with arcane when used on a weapon with arcane scaling and bfb bleed build up doesn't scale.
@@avizinder616 bfb is also bugged specifically on albinauric weapons so it becomes even worse than it should

Gino, I'd love to see some PvP. You have a lot of the skills that make a very good player. You have great spacing, no panic rolls, great situational awareness, can free aim throwables, etc... I'd tune in for that on a regular basis.
He was in the twitch rivals pvp event recently and actually did really well, im sure you can find videos or vods of it if you want, was an entertaining event for sure and gino has a lot of pvp experience from ds3, which is pretty transferrable to er
Good to see someone did an arcane only. It's my favorite thing to do. Doesn't do great damage but there are some weird weapons/playstyles you can do with it besides bleed. Like the Albunauric's Staff, Ripple Crescent, etc. Can also just use the Occult infuse on any normal weapon as well
first time watching this man's videos. super impressed by the skills, but had my knees down at the outro.
I used Reduvias blade for Draconic Tree Setinal and the weapon art really shined. The bleed proc made the fight trivial compared to the attempt even fully buffed. Just sit back and ride the range attacks while dodging once and countering with the weapon art

I wasn't actually looking at the screen the first time it played, and I thought there was some crazy multi-hit combo attack with the claws with a specific ash of war that I just didn't know about... Nope, just some fast editing

From this i have begun to question why we are given like four fights with black knife assassins, 8 fights with godskins, 3 with gargoyles hell even reverents and sangrine nobles get one fight each but we get zero with the lions or banished knights
Maybe because the lions and banished knights are much easier than a godskin or a gargoyle
2 banished knight are included with niall... does that count?

So they are less bosses and more "inconvenient" spirit ashes.

Ripple Blade shares a moveset with Warped Axe. I love those things. Especially a Bloody Warped Axe. With Spinning Slash. Usually bleeds people in one full use of the Ash of War.

I had "coop" run with my friend, starfist (or fistweapons only) with only the ocult scaling an leveling arcane to the max. The update made fistweapons kinda op xD
Star fists are quite literally the best pve weapon in the game. Iron ball is preferred in no hit only because its available in liurnia rather than leyndell
Love seeing a pro dodging; i never think to jump instead of rolling
For a bleed build up of 140 use the weapon godskin peeler +25 with bloody slash ash of war also make sure arcane is around lvl 65
Great Knife with a poison ash of war together with reduvia is quite a lot of fun
Probably should have started as the class with the highest dex and/or str because all you can level is arc. That way you might be able to squeak by with less talismans or tears for either of those stats and use ones to only buff arcane dmgs

You can get legenderys from the armory in the fire station and the other hub. By rerolling the stock multiple times ive had the shock pistol appear twice.
I would like to see (and do myself) a run focussing on an Ash of War. Up to now I only did hack n slash with different weapons and sorcery/incantations and shield poke. Is there an early access weapon that has / can get a good ash to make it through the game? Maybe early Nagakiba and Bloody Slash or so? :s
GinoMachino, the absolute god of Elden Ring, still dying to those dungeon goblins is a suprise to be sure, but a welcome one hahaha
I swear to god those imps are entirely too strong, and their weapons have some of the craziest fucking bleed buildup in any enemy you encounter, especially ones that early in the game. Their moves have a really weird timing that makes you always dodge too early or too late, because the delay is like a half a second longer than you expect it to be, every time. I've probably died more to those things than I've died to most bosses at this point. Except for Godskin duo...

Why do you always pick the character with the highest in your stat instead of the best other stats. Like in this one you picked the highest arcane, but wouldnt you want to the best non arcane stats you can since you cant level them. Is it a rule or something?
Please do it for all stats lol. Maybe not for vigor, mind and endurance but other damage based stats would be cool.
I want to see a playthrough of just pure health becoming a indestructible tank like no locks or anything just reach the absolute limit of health
the reduvia was my 2nd or 3rd weapon i maxed out. the ash of war is really good imo.
Try the blood curved sword together with the shimshir in power stance and you get so so many bleed buildups in a row

BTW if you focus on Claws you should definitely try Quicksteps run, that's insanely good against all kinds of humanoids, or better to say, any enemy.
