  • Over the past couples of years, there has been a spike in cancer patients from Kasese district. Community members have also complained of stomach aches and ulcers. This documentary shows if there is any coloration between the metals and cancer that is silently claiming the lives of many people in my community.

This is a good documentary. But the question for the DHO about what could be the causes of cancer in Areas of Bwera, Kisinga goes un answered.
We also need to know, if we are having these contaminations, what have the doctors recommended. Otherwise us the Kilembe born are not fine with this.

We're indeed in danger. How i wish and pray the leaders to be strict on supervision of the mines. And they should be environmental audit. We want our great grand children to be safe. We will be late gone.

But i think ,the mines mgt in collaboration with the govt shd be able to compensate kasese people and or especially the kilembe people around nyamwamba. In fact they shd be a special fund to take care of cancer patients from kasese. The mine could be a blessing but again it has become very dangerous over times.
