    I was going to say "good tip" before realising the pun was diabolical.

    Hi, earlier, a long time ago, I painted with white airbrush paint: "Schmincke - AERO COLOR Professional" on acrylic painted canvas. Maybe it would be a possibility. For this, just like you, I used painting feather. Greetings from Germany :-)

    Hello Dan, how can I prepare a multi-layer or multicolor drawing and execute it with an AxiDraw or any other professional drawing and writing robot?

    I kindof like the opacity of the ink. Im sure you could work with it on plot where theres a lot of overlapping lines

      @revdancatt  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, that's a good idea, have the build up of the lines as part of the design!

      @@revdancatt yea, thats the thing with flaws. Sometimes the flaw in the tool is what gives it flavor. Like film grain or lens flares. The white isnt great for some contexts, but perhaps a design with lots of tight overlapping patterns would look interesting

      Going to have to give it a go now!

    Would you get a better first coat if you first seal the paper with matte sealer from a spray can?

      I think so, although I try to avoid sealer as it tends to dull everything, perhaps I'll give it a shot though, thank you.

    i know its irrelevant to the main point of this video, but what is the in/out board for ?

      Ah, hah. This is my old studio which is above a coffee shop. There's a handful of other artists in there too. It made it easier for use to know who was in and out and that's the board we used.
      Probably also handy for fires, but we generally tried to avoid those. Hope set it up, she's super handy with a drill 😁

    Did you ever find white ink that works? Lol

    • @revdancatt

      I think weirdly the secret is to have a warm studio, the chalky ink flows better. I ended up mixing up my own white ink, but it's been so long I'll have to go back through my notes and dig it out. I'll make a proper video about that and lay the white ink to rest for once and all.

      @@revdancatt your own ink mix?? That's AMAZING! I'd love to see a video on that. Thanks for the tip on the temperature 👍
