Yeah my buddy bought one and had it delivered to my house, he was hiding it from his wife, he always wanted a Harley-Davidson but couldn’t afford one so he bought a Valkyrie from Texas had it delivered to my house and I rode it for the first time and fell in love with it, I probably have owned about 6 of them every time someone rode mine they wanted to buy it so I sold it well now I have an interstate and a tour model and will never sell them, I’ve road my interstate coast to coast every year started out having 5 thousand miles now I have 90,000 miles and it’s never broke down , had a few flat tires but that’s it, great bikes, I’m a retired Harley-Davidson mechanic too, ha ha just love it
I guess that by not affording a Harley, he traded UP without knowing..... Did one machine do 90 000 miles without major overhaul ? Thank you for watching these video's. More are coming.

I too have now joined the ranks with a new-to-me 1998 Valkyrie Tour in the much sort after Jade green & black livery. It's mostly stock but has several tasteful chrome add-ons so I'm looking forward to making some more additions and make it my own.

Really useful video. Did you ground the light bar or is that already standard Honda design. The black wire in the spotlight goes to casing. Only red live wire goes to the battery via relay/switch?
Yes, that is correct. Black cable ends inside housing. The 4 pieces of housing is unfortunately of bad quality. They are all rusted now. The rest of the bike is fine. I think the difference is so huge that anyone with a Valkyrie, with stock lights, should swap to LED. Thank you for watching !
