Hey, it’s me - Lincoln Park Chicago guy. Gotta say this is probably the best video so far that I’ve seen! The editing, the topic, the video and audio, the “script” or whatever you guys work off, etc
@@EatBailaTravelI’m binging your videos you made after your brief pause. I was also in Mexico! Last years was Puebla and Mexico City (I got to go your first on the list but Asian fusion one looks so good!) and early this month was Oaxaca city and Guadalajara! You two have to go to Oaxaca city!
It was so hard watching this video on an empty stomach 😂 I will definitely visit the Asian fusion taco place, they look amazing and I also said the same thing about the corn husk plates. Pure genius! Another amazing video guys🎉 thank you both so much ❤
Yes Taco are an essential food group. I'm in a taco induced coma just watching this. For me the perfect pairing with a taco is a michelada. After taking some time off from youtube you two look younger. It's wonderful to see you back on youtube though. -Marc

Great video! We have not tried any of these places, but they are now on our list. Our favorite tacos del Pastor in CDMX are at El Tizoncito in La Condesa on Avenida Tamaulipas.
Ah we’ve tried El Tizoncito but in Coyoacan. They were good but still not as good as some al pastor we’ve had outside of Mexico City! 😅 for us at least
My Spanish teacher put me on a spot in Polanco (!) of all places called “El Rey de Suadero.” It’s on Homero. It’s one of my favorite spots for a suadero taco. We also loved a spot in Juarez called Taqueria Turuleto. It’s on Londres, not too far from Plaza Washington. Those are more Baja style tacos
Welcome back! They all look delicious, but thank you for highlighting the tacos de suadero, no hate to al pastor, but the sudadero are my favorite and it's a shame so few people outside of Mexico know about them (or maybe it's better for those of us in the know! 🌮😉)
Aww.
I think the best Al pastor I have had in CDMX has been at "la casa del pastor". It's a mainstream chain and the food is bit expensive, but I feel that their pastor has the best flavor and consistency.
Your not going to believe this but I was laying in bed last night trying to fall a sleep and you two popped in my head and I wondered how you both have been doing and hoping everything was good with you and hoping things were working out in your lives in Mexico now I'm hungry for tacos ❤❤
Lol so we can say we called it first!! hahaha. It happened with a taquería in Chicago. We pointed it out as one of the best and the following year (or 2), Netflix features it on its Taco Chronicles series. Called it!! LOL
The best Tacos al Pastor after years looking for. El Manolo (Luz Saviñón casi esquina con Avenida Cuahutemoc). Deben probarlos, seguro entran al top 5 👌🏻

taqueria have been replacing traditional Tex-Mex fare as go-to eateries in Dallas in recent years. standard Tex-Mex of my youth was the trinity: enchiladas, beans & rice. tacos (hard-shell) were often an appetizer. things change, sometimes for the better. i do still miss getting enchiladas (cheese, beef, chicken, some places had shrimp, too, as an option) in the vicinity.

Finally you are back, I have been missing you! It is interesting that you mentioned that good Tacos al Pastor aren't that easy to find in CDMX. It is exactly what I noticed. Al Pastor is my favorite kind of taco, but I have found much better ones in Sonora than in CDMX. Well, I will be back in town in October and will try out the places you mentioned.
