. I am explaining how to work with the flame bit and go through the e-filing in detail. In the 2nd part of the video, I show how to make squoval nail shapes. Filing the squoval shape of the nails and in the 3rd part, I am explaining in detail how to apply a gel base coat on the nails, how to shape the apex, and avoid mistakes with nail overlays.

Super helpful video! My nails are currently very short, so many of these tips will be for future applications, but you did touch on some points that will help me right away with my next application. One question...can one do a fill with this product, or do you recommend taking it all off and starting fresh?
Thank you for your feedback:) With short nails you can apply smaller amount of product, for example two thin coats like if you would apply a gel polish. That will help to strengthen and grow your nails. Also you can build up some length using in.Hype structure Gel. There is a video on that on the channel. I never recommend to take off the product completely, only if there is lots of lifting and it will affect further application. Yes, you can just do a backfilling with a product. Just keep in mind, that you might want to go with more opaque shape to cover the previous color you chose to keep.
My teacher also told me about reflection but I could never find a lamp like the one she got lol.

You should never use 100 grit file on natural nails, 240 grit only.
