I appreciate this video so much. You did a great job explaining everything. I installed the same model in my van, off my solar bank, it runs great. Lowest setting for 12 hours I'll use 3/4 a gallon of diesel myself. for a night of safe & consistent heat that's great over propane etc ...
I'm camping in below freezing weather right now with one of these and keep getting error 5. Thanks so much for sharing the error code table. You are a life saver, really
Great video with some great information. I've got one exactly the same. Can't for the life of me figure out how the settings for auto-on/off works (yet).. I did manage to set the time on it atleast.. Keep up the good work!
Cool video, wanted to say that you sound Dutch and then looked into your profile 😀 Prima 👍 I see your garage wood walls, i assume its not 100% insulated. Wanna install this heater in my mancave, 5x5. Is it worth it? How quick does your garage warm up and to what temperature? If I need to run for 12 hours to get 20° than its sure not for me. Greetings from Limburg 👊
True the shed you see is not insulated it doesn't have a door also😂, I kept my living room like 20 celcius, so I think would not be a problem for your cave. Yes I'm dutch, these videos are a good training for my English 😂
I have the same unit, it doesn’t have a fuel filter. I recommend buying the filter/hose kit and fitting a filter and upgrading the fuel lines to the white tubing.
Let me know a brand, model and price and I will test one from the same category to see the difrence. My experience with this one is in the start up it kicks loud, when it is in temperature you only hear the airflow. It might show a little difrent in a video but I do my best to show it in the right way. Also my previous diesel heater 8kw as I mentioned was 10db louder then this one.
That's always an issue with the diesel heaters, but this one is already improved and more quiet then the older models from Vevor. But a wippro diesel heater can even be more quiet.

Thanks, nice that it works for you, I do not know the propane prices in you country. But here it is very expensive.
Very helpful video, thank you for posting
Thanks for the comment, 🙏

I don't need it anymore this one is already sold again Receiving a new model soon again.
@@DennisDIYdon’t you like this one? I bought this one because it’s 8kw but the heat output is the same as another one I have which is 5kw
I do but I want another model
Is thereva way to add a fuel line from a larger tank?
Yes you can do that,
Great advert for parkside tools
🤣🤣🤣
I do have many of them 🤣
That sounds very load to me. Surely they could make them to be significantly quieter especially the pump

True, it can get up to 280/300 celcius, everyday we learn
Loud as hell.

@DennisDIY thanks. Saw a video where the guy changed the fuel pump and stopped most of the noise. Might try it. Luck to you
I know, tried thae silent pump in the older model diesel heater , stil 68db
@@DennisDIY just got mine hooked up outside the trailer: not bad at all. Has a hard time priming
True priming is noisy
