    Paul does a fantastic Borat impersonation.
    “Very nice….very nice….very nice”
    Julian’s flavor descriptions are great though, gives you a feel for what the taste is actually like.

    I like mango green. I put coarse ground sea salt and red chile pepper flakes on it.
    I liked the intro and the background music with it. I liked this type of video. I learned that some mangos have "jelly".

    Just came from a Puerto Rico vacation and there I tasted the most delicious little mango that I’ve had in my life . Don’t know the name but it was small, beautiful yellow and tasty. It was in the south west area of Cabo Rojo road . Lots of tree trees in the road.

    Wow, I got my first Cogshalls this year, never had one before, it was one of the sweetest mangos I've ever eaten. Sweeter than my Carrie, like eating out of a sugar bowl. My Pickering wasn't nearly as good. But my Zil seedling and Facelle are amazing.

    Tebow…really a “Young” mango developed by David Sturrock.. first fruit is in 1964. This is usually one of my favorite mangoes on the property. But this year we had so much rain that the flavor was a little washed out so I’m liking the coconut cream the best this year, but last year, the Tebow/young was my favorite.

    Got to try a tymour from Julian in a pack. Love the mango. Taste is outstanding. Only thing that stops me from putting it as a top so far is the fruit to seed ratio. Maybe I got a smaller one, but if I had local access, I’d eat them all season!

    The only thing of this nature I am allergic to is mangoes. I can eat about five and then I get a super rash all over my face and neck. But dang it, it is worth the inconvenience.

    Hello: I am a new subscriber and have been watching your videos on mangoes. Never knew there were so many varieties, so while shopping for grocery today, I saw some mangoes and decided to try one. Haven't heard you mention the variety I purchased. It is a Champagne. Can you tell me something about it, and when it is ready to eat?

    • @originaldanman
      @originaldanman ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure about the Champagne, but most mangos in the grocery store are usually over ripe by the time they make it onto the shelves, except for the Tommie Adkins, which is not a good mango. Occasionally you might find one in the store worth eating, but most are picked to green and then sold for color, and the way they keep on the shelf. If it's still soft, it's either ready to eat or over ripe.
      If you want a mango at it's best, come to Florida and pick it from the tree. Or by a condo mango, Carrie, Cogshall or Pickering, all excellent and can be grown in pots.

  • @tty3146
    @tty3146 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

  • @jackson8085

    Unfortunately, I've had nothing but problems with Lara farms. After spending nearly $1,000 trees, and giving him the benefit of the doubt, all I got was mislabeled trees, sometimes the wrong tree completely. When I reached out for customer support, i got no response. When I did get the right plant it was a runt of a tree in a 1 gallon pot for $85-90!! I could get a three gallon for the same price from a dozen other nurseries in south Florida. To make matters worse, the trees were always weak, barely keep alive on an all chemical diet, chemical life support as I call it.
