Oh no the cooldown on an ability that was already getting reset 4 times per all in got increased by a 1.5 seconds. Thank god they're making her attack speed way stronger so now she can stick to me just as well and also auto me faster.

@@cristhianfernandez4993 Most mid/top laners cant swap flash or tp/ign for ghost. Plus even then a slightly compitent irelia can bait it out or wait for her R which forces you to flash out of it due to it slowing you.

Legit this. I mained her even before the major rework, when they reworked her she felt somewhat "Irelia"
You know, sucks early game, spikes a midgame, and lategame was okay ish.
She built somewhat tanky, had a decent cc, but nope they decided to fuck it up.
No scaling on E duration, no more shield breaking passive, no more disable ultimate, no more everything.
Now she is just a squishy tryndamere with dashes instead of immortality
Why a champion with resets on main ability has so low cooldown on that ability? Just make her Q cooldown flat at all levels and she finally will be balanced
Play irelia and you'll understand why

Why? I’m going to explain you, Irelia in the early levels has a lot of mobility advantage on the minion waves, that’s why in the early levels the Q CD is not reduced a lot, BUT, in late game teamfights doesn’t happen near waves, it happens near the objectives, it makes her mobility potential fall a lot, making her Q have low cd is a way to make still very mobile in every phase of the game :)

When she hits ability on anything she gain attack speed, up to 4 times. It’s pretty simple to anyone with a functioning brain but I guess you’re not very bright
Atleast it affects his spells, meanwhile Yorick's passive is dead half the time or just apart of his Q and then it's useless once R is up..

Yorick is a pet champ that can't even spawn them easily and his passive is just here's Zyra passive but locked unto the enemy wave that you can't control or guarantee you're gonna be next to.
Who's calling it a nerf? Q cooldown barely matters and getting up to 20% more atk speed with an increase every level is huge, compared to the measly 0.5 atk off of every level. She still has extremely high base atk for a normal attack oriented champion
Finally a kinda good change, now they only need to nerf fiora, add ban phase in aram and make fizz not be able to use his e after zhonya for at least 3 seconds
Jax, Irelia, Tryndamere, Sett and Akali. This are the most toxic, not balanced champions. Even when 3 levels behind and 2 items behind they can still oneshoot you.
And remove rumble from the game

Nah fuck Irelia, she used to be way less annoying, when she went pure Bruiser, the Tryndamere playstyle is just way too toxic, getting jumped on and autoattacked to fountain will never make me think "Yeah man, I definitely got outplayed in a reasonable way."
As much as I miss 3rd season irelia with triforce, she has felt terrible into tanks/bruisers until she hits these breakpoints or gets botrk. Now that she scales a bit more consistently, I don't think it'll be as abhorrent to fight against stat stick champs as long as you are managing your passive stacks appropriately.

irelia is nowhere near the biggest stat check champion. Darius, Garen, Volibear, Mordekaiser, Sett, and among more all stat check Irelia, which by definition doesnt make her the biggest stat check champion if multiple champions are stat checking her. Irelia is currently a "win early or be useless all game" champion, because unlike other stat check champions, she lacks the tankiness of other stat checkers that still make them useful in the late game as meat shields for your team's damage dealers.
As an irelia main I think that change would make her very strong. But I don't like that riot is trying to make her an scaling champion rather her old style which was an early-mid game champion duelist. Also I think that the first week she will get nerfed to the ground.
Anything to avoid working on the important stuff.. like Swains rework, Teemos ASU, any updates on Shyvanas VGU or announce any VGU roadmap at all

this is a super buff for Bork. If you are slightly ahead all you do is q and stat check the target without needing to reset your Q even more.

As an Irelia player, she can still go Triforce first. I do it against ranged toplaners who I can't trade for a long time. Usually Gnar and Kennen.

@@i_hakuryu6624 well yes, the item gives you attack speed, life steal and a nice passive, so it's never a bad option. And it's fine, you can't balance all items around one champion anyway. Some champions just have an item that synergize so well it's built every game.
I hate them. I used to love Irelia but i hate the builds and playstyle they pushed her rework into. She was way more fun with 5 stacks on passive and rushing trinity. They buffed the brain dead master yi build. I just want them to nerf her passive, make her q not apply lifesteal (its bs to face) and then buff her q reset with trinity playstyle. Rn shes just an auto bot. You can mess up everything all you need is 4 stacks.
I'd rather have the AD and 2.5 cd Q at lvl 16 vs 5% attk speed. Thats ultimately whats its giving. You cant fight evenly with less than 4 stacks
I think this is a good change, personally, the Q cd on the ult should have never been a thing and still shouldn't but I'm fine with steps towards the right direction, and more attack speed will make her more relevant in the late game were she falls off a bit compared to other top laners

I think it decreased her skill floor and it feels more inviting to play her, knowing I can actually master the champ. Being able to jump constantly felt like I would never reach her full potential personally.
They couldve just bring back her old E, when you could use it while Static or while Q and also projectile speed that was decreased/increased with distance
Irelia struggles the most in the early game. The Nerf is well worth it, to deter early engagement and trashing lane.
i still dont understand why they give irelia such a low q cd when she gets resets. it should be double the cd to add counter play and have her kit need a higher iq to play when thinking about using her q without a mark

I hate how irelia as a melee champion has that much pressure over ranged champions with her passive, even in mid lane. Even zed is more balanced, being able to be punished lvls 1 and 2. Even yasuo lvl 1 can be punished more easily by ranged champs.

oh, and by the way, you cannot just "revive" people as Akshan. you actually have to kill whoever killed your teammate in order to revive them. and guess what? that usually means either the enemy is strong enough to do so or you have someone dyin' unnecessarily. revivin' your teammate rarely ever does whatever you think it does, and that's if you even get to actually revivin' them.
and the shield is utter garbage past lane phase... it has a 35% AD ratio on a champion that is pretty much one shot by anyone. not to mention you have to commit if you want to get that shield unlike irelia that can stack her passive on mobs.

So when are they introducing 3 bans per player? At this point there are so many 200 year champs that 5 bans per team isn't cutting it. Voli takes half your hp at lvl 1 with his E and one as. Tahm literally just runs you down. Vayne is the perfect anti top lane champ (but riot still refuses to acknowledge it). Riven can still insta gib you at lvl 6 with two long swords if you don't have flash but she does. Liandrys Yorick can 0v1 you with his maiden while he is on the other side of the map. And basically anyone who deals magic damage is blatantly better than anyone who deals physical damage. Armour is almost useless now that dominiks is in almost every single damage carry's build. MR is still terrible and items give way less utility than armour items.
3 bans per player is a long due necessity. Although not all champs are being played at the same rate, at least meta abusers will have to learn other champs.
@@vanjamenadzer I think that the only reason that they won't put it in is because people who main the most broken champions are NEVER going to get to play their mains. Maybe if we hide what other players are banning and restrict chat during banning? So then you can either risk banning a champ that isn't op per se, but you just don't like that particular champ or you ban the most op champs and risk getting duplicate bans.

I don't even play Irelia, but I would love her W to mark enemies so she can Q reset as she did after the rework. I know people wasn't happy, but with so many stronger champs nowadays and overloaded kits, I'm sure it should be fine now...

@erwangoasdoue1721 Her kit is entirely too overloaded, all of her abilities give her massive utility, damage, and sustain, in any 1v1 fight she wins nearly every match up in the early game, just because she's too versatile. Give her a single kill over you and you might as well FF then and there, or hope the other team doesn't capitalize on that and win before 30 minutes.
If they'd remove some of her kit, just shave off one or two of the 3 things her other abilities do, or make them more restrictive, they wouldn't have NEARLY as many issues with her building items that make her "op".

Irelia is a failed design like Yasuo, and Yone as there is nothing you can do against them you just watch them dashing every second unlike Zed who can be played around, Akila who can be played around, Aatrox who can be played around, etc. When champios there is no way to play around him you know it's a bad design literally the counter for irelia and yasuo they are irelia and yasuo players when they play badly but for yone there is nothing you can do against him 😂

It's a reason that champ has below 50% winrate. You can make her work if you're good, but for the average player, there are so many better and stronger picks than Irelia.
