Am a blue water sailor myself and this is easily my absolute favourite channel on TH-cam. Lovely people in wonderful places. Skilled sailors and no click bait in beautifully filmed and edited programs. As good as it gets anywhere. Well done and thank you.
No clickbait, no soft porn, and no dramas. Woodenboat cruising at its best and pukka weathered bronze to boot! Glad to see your subscriber numbers are up, well deserved.
What keeps me returning to your voyage scenes is there is something authentic about the boat you built, the trueness of your sailing experience, and the essential rhythm of your passage making. Thank you so much for sharing!
I've noticed some other comments below and totally agree, this is the best sailing channel on TH-cam. I think it is due to the very good narration, excellent use of music, and the footage being raw and to the point - it makes you dream of buying your own boat and setting sail. Many other channels are overly commercialised and focused less on sailing and more on making money - which is their prerogative. Please keep to this format, don't change, you will be rewarded in the long run.
I'm loving this. Living vicariously with you guys. My blue water sailing days are over as I've aged out of this kind of adventure, but your videos are so laid back and fun to watch . Thanks
❤/// I really like the Hands full of Shells scene... Those Fossils are the origins of life on this Planet! It is astounding how long we've been struggling here, Organically...
I enjoyed this very much…nice footage with nice serene music that gave lots of depth to the nice scenery.. This is real blue water cruising done by a lovely couple..Thanks for sharing..
You both look so at one with your life. Peaceful. Happy. Beautiful imagery that is allowed to tell its own story. Such a joy to watch. I wish I had known about floating the chain. It would have saved me many problems in the Cook Islands
.....uuuufff !!! Impresionante !!!
I was so excited to see a new episode from you guys!! Another great one. By far one of the best sailing channels and with a lovely boat. I was down in Mo'orea this last month and thought I saw your boat in Cook's Bay. Looking forward to seeing the Tahiti episodes.
Lovely scenery in those reefs as you scuba dive. Scared of the seas as I can't swim but appreciate the scenery and interaction. Adoring South African. Thanks for sharing 🎉🎉🎉
It's been a miserable winter in the Pacific Northwest and it's not over yet. My cutter rig Ingrid is tied up at the dock waiting to sail the Salish Sea this summer. Great to see you living your dream!
The best 33 minutes I've watched on YT for a long time. Happy safe travelling to you both. Twenty years ago my wife and I married in Rarotonga and spent 4 days in Aitutaki another atoll. Memories flooded back! Best wishes from the UK.
Always look forward to your videos and so glad to see a new one! You are easily the best sailing channel on YT. Keep at it! Can’t wait to see what new adventures the Society Islands bring. FWFS.
Lovey, sublime. Somehow the natural wood on the boat makes it more perfect. Sigh… I will sleep well now and put my wave sound generator on and dream of the sea. Fair winds
Wow, just wow what a gorgeous video. I’ve been following since the bandsaw rebuild, but this one blew me away. “Simply amazing”, I’ll say! Thanks for sharing
Another beautiful video. What I love best about this channel is that, technology aside, this could just as easily be filmed in 1963 as 2023. I hope you both enjoy your time in the S Pacific .
I know you guys are right in the middle of it, and I am sure you have moments that you feel you could capture the beauty of your surroundings better though I don't know how but I have to ask one question. Do you take a moment after you've edited a video and reflect on just what a masterpiece you've created time after time? Your videos surpass my consciousness and touch my soul. Thank You so very much for taking us along. Can't wait for Dad to board! Put him to work! lol 😂Thanks again!......................⛵⛵⛵
Really applaud you do not profane the quiet beauty of the atolls and islands by rowing or sailing to shore rather than buzzing in with an outboard motor. Good on you!
Well done. My sister and brother-in-law circumnavigated in the '70s and '80s in a Lapworth 36 - another woodie, so I know the work it takes to keep your boat in good shape. Keep up the good work, you've done a fine job. Thank you
The comment section has hit all of the points. This is a great channel for its authenticity, videography, and lack of commercialization of the channel. I also find myself very at peace and at ease when watching. I believe it is due to the narration and the personalities of you both. My favorite channel regardless of how frequently you post. Enjoy your travels!
Your Julia yacht , Tuamotus and Dashew sailing yachts transocean passage making videos are superb. Thank you so much for presenting this. They are so wonderful.
This is my new favorite channel on TH-cam. Ironically, despite my extreme care, I contracted Covid after 3 years invictus. So, while at home in the mountains of Rio de Janeiro, I boarded your lovely boat and took a trip in the vast Pacific Ocean. Thank you for the wonderful ride!
You guys make such lovely videos where the scenery and journey speak for themselves- and they do. I wish you’d have spent more time in the Tuamotus, but hey, on to the next adventure and I’m looking forward to that. Thanks for taking me along.
Hi I have been bing watching you. I’ve loved everyone of your vlogs. But this one is my favorite. This spot could not be more beautiful, serene. The wildlife, the ocean life the shells and to watch it’s just mesmerized me. Thank you for going there and for sharing your wonderful adventure.
I'm so grateful for these wonderful videos! I can't get over how beautifully done they are. Such quality videography, the lovely sound track, the mellow thoughtful narration, and of course the spectacular subject matter,. As well as the fine boat, the attractive crew. A chance to share in a long time dream that will not become a part of my reality. Yet here I have a chance to enjoy and share in your adventures vicariously. Thank you so much.
Every single aspect of your videos is just supurb. The photography, music, dialog, etc is spot on! The only bad part is they end and leave you hungry for more. Wether you know it or not Polynesia is leaving a permanent mark on you that never goes away! On to Tahiti! Safe passage!
No doubt you will treasure not only the memories of the Tuamotu Islands, but also those great shots of Julia silhouetted against the backdrop of the atoll, coral reef, sunsets etc. Julia is so evocative of an earlier age of South Pacific trading sailing vessels (OK, they were usually schooners not ketches!). She looks authentic in that setting compared with the plastic cats etc! I bet you get envious glances from some of the other sailors...
Thank you for this and all of your videos. Yours is a refreshing break from the usual Tyro seafaring drama--and you've a lovely wooden boat. So inviting. So inspiring. Thank you again. Smooth Sailing.
Thank you so very much for sharing your adventures with all of us. I look forward to seeing your travels and the excellent videography. This episode was simply magnificent!
I was trying to figure out some constructive criticism; couldn't find anything. Absolutely awesome boat and sailing clips. Beautifully done snorkeling camera work. You two put out very good quality videos. Thank you for your effort and thank you for sharing as you write chapters in the adventures of your lives. Be safe and fair winds to you !
Loved it! In light of everything you've done in preparing the boat - the boat its self, sailing like pro's, teamwork, great video presentation, you manifest it all as the quintessential sailing channel. Thanks for keeping it pure.
What a joy, to watch your vids, they get better and better......hmmm...I`m dreaming of your boatlife in this great part of the world. Watched a lot of sailing vids, you both are so natural and for me one of the best, big compliment! Bernie from Germany
Currently planning to continue our journey that was abruptly halted thanks to the pandemic, now readying the boat again to follow in your wake.... Vancouver - Baja - French Polynesia.... your videos are 100% inspiring!
Agree with the comments here, a true escape through your lens/experience. Where to next, and when? Love to spend a Sunday morning watching the latest leg of the journey, longing for more. Thank you.
Hear! Hear! Best sailing channel on YT. Wooden boats are so much more aesthetically pleasing. The narration is great: not pretentious and very informative. Every shot is a postcard
I really like the way you focus on the cruising and the beauty of the locations. This is the cruising like I am starting to prepare for. I gotta go back and watch from the beginning.
Am a blue water sailor myself and this is easily my absolute favourite channel on TH-cam. Lovely people in wonderful places. Skilled sailors and no click bait in beautifully filmed and edited programs. As good as it gets anywhere. Well done and thank you.
amen
Yep, great relaxing editing with relaxing music. No onboard drama.
No clickbait, no soft porn, and no dramas. Woodenboat cruising at its best and pukka weathered bronze to boot! Glad to see your subscriber numbers are up, well deserved.
Well said.
They don't know or tell you that water always is flat.
Classy sailing channel…fabulous well maintained yacht and superb videography
This is the best of the best. Also appreciate the music and the classic sailor's journal commentary. Nothing else like it on TH-cam!
Right! I am sick of channels showing t&a to get views. It's either good content or not. Great channel!
Love the way you show things with minimal talking, giggling or showing off for no reason.
Love your old style classic boat too..!! 👍👏👌😎
Quality over quantity shows and is greatly appreciated
One of the best real sailing channels on TH-cam. Thank you.
Absolutely next level…
Awesome sailing and sights. Beautiful scenery. Very relaxing. 👍❤️
With such experiences you are blessed from God.. Regards from Netherlands 🇳🇱.
Greetings from Seattle. I love your channel, and I have been obsessively watching for your next episode.
Tuomotu are probably some of the best Pacific cruising there is. You do them justice. Just beautiful.
There are no word to describe the beauty you are showing us. Well done, can’t wait for more sailing, diving and exploring
What keeps me returning to your voyage scenes is there is something authentic about the boat you built, the trueness of your sailing experience, and the essential rhythm of your passage making. Thank you so much for sharing!

Blue colours and soft whispering waves and calm music...soothing on my nerves tonight...not to mention all the fishes
I'm loving this. Living vicariously with you guys. My blue water sailing days are over as I've aged out of this kind of adventure, but your videos are so laid back and fun to watch . Thanks
Absolutely correct comment! I am the same.
This is exactly the pace that suits me. The images, not too much talk. just perfect. Merci!
Such a beautiful boat, doing what she was made for, sailing the world. You can almost feel her Joy.
We've been waiting to see this video. Thank you for sharing your adventure of these beautiful islands created by God
I should get a cold glass of salt water and swish it around in my mouth every few minutes while watching. I love this...Ahoy from Seattle.
By far my one if not the best sailing TH-cam channels of all. Thank you again for sharing such wonderful moments in your journey!
❤/// I really like the Hands full of Shells scene... Those Fossils are the origins of life on this Planet! It is astounding how long we've been struggling here, Organically...
Beautiful islands. Lovely underwater scenery. Most of us will never visit them personally. So nice to have arm chair visits with you.
I enjoyed this very much…nice footage with nice serene music that gave lots of depth to the nice scenery..
This is real blue water cruising done by a lovely couple..Thanks for sharing..
Incredible video work throughout. The Tuomotus look absolutely amazing.
You both look so at one with your life. Peaceful. Happy. Beautiful imagery that is allowed to tell its own story. Such a joy to watch. I wish I had known about floating the chain. It would have saved me many problems in the Cook Islands
Really loving the videos you make. A beautiful format.
I can see from your faces that you are happy.
Keep safe !
Wow how beautiful is that place.. awesome video guys...safe passage.😁👍⚓⛵🇦🇺
Yours is such an “Underrated” Channel❤️ Continue to Stay Safe and Enjoy 😎
I absolutely fell in love with this beautiful boat. Have a nice and save trip.
Thank you both so much for sharing your beautiful experiences.x
What a beautiful island, and at 13:07 ingenious
Muchas gracias por explicarnos sus aventuras, me parecen de otros mundos.....
Always a treat when Madison publishes
Great camera work and editing. Nicely put together.
I was going to say the same thing... : ⁰ )

Pure class, so refreshing to see this from two genuine and informative sailors.

Great to see you living your dream!
Absolutely love your segments. It reminds me of sailing the unspoiled Grenadines 60 years ago.❤
The best 33 minutes I've watched on YT for a long time. Happy safe travelling to you both.
Twenty years ago my wife and I married in Rarotonga and spent 4 days in Aitutaki another atoll. Memories flooded back!
Best wishes from the UK.
Bravo Zulu - I like the quiet, peaceful style of your videos. They have an older “documentary” feel to them.
Whitney, It's absolutely impossible not to smile seeing you smiling so naturally
Thank you both 😊
I really enjoyed this video, the pace, the interesting information and calm subdued music. Wonderful! Thank you!
Love your videos. Sometimes I watch them twice. I’m a wooden boat owner. Your featuring the boa😢t is wonderful. Keep them coming.
you are great. We love you very much. My wife and I enjoy watching your videos. Greetings from Türkiye
Thank you for sharing your time and reminding us just how beautiful being alive can be😊🙂💕
Always look forward to your videos and so glad to see a new one! You are easily the best sailing channel on YT. Keep at it! Can’t wait to see what new adventures the Society Islands bring. FWFS.
Absolutely best cruising video. Well shot, edited and great music. Used to have a gaff rigged schooner. This is the dream. Thank you.
Enjoying these videos very much. Thank you. Good luck. Those Atols are so beautiful. I’d never wear clothes there.
Lovey, sublime. Somehow the natural wood on the boat makes it more perfect. Sigh… I will sleep well now and put my wave sound generator on and dream of the sea. Fair winds

Gorgeous sailing vessel, beautiful nature filming, as well as informative and exciting. Stay safe and stay groovy.
When you get to the open sea you are truly on your own - it must feel fabulous.
Your videos are amazing 😊👌💖 congratulations
You guys have one of the best produced vlog on this subject and a beautiful boat also. Best of luck. Cheers.
I've watched many sailing adventure videos on TH-cam. These videos are the best. The cinematography is outstanding. Well done! Keep the videos coming.
Love the pre-TH-cam celeb style you guys have. So Classic!
Really applaud you do not profane the quiet beauty of the atolls and islands by rowing or sailing to shore rather than buzzing in with an outboard motor. Good on you!

Good lighting and a sharp lookout essential.....coral heads u know....
Incredible videos, incredible boat. Thanks for sharing!. Love your beautiful classic yacht, and the superb photography..

I love your you tube channel. You show what you do with a clear explanation. A lot of channels say touch and show to little.👍
I love the tone of voice. It reminds me of the documentaries of Jacques Cousteau. No nonsense or overproduced, overedited. Well done.
Amazing! Thank you so much folks for creating these beautiful videos… watching truly calms my spirit and gives me joy 😊
I love your videos. Great job. All the best.
Yours is the only sailing channel I go back to watch again!
I don't have words other than thoroughly, thoroughly magnificent. Happy and safe sailing ⛵️
Beautiful visuals. Very nice music. Just the right amount of speaking. Perfect. Thanks.
Your drone shots are breathtaking and add a whole other dimension to how beautiful the Tuamotus are. 22:53, WOW!
You guys have a boat with great lines. I can imagine she's as pleasing to live aboard as she is to watch her sail. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Lovely ! And nice selections of music that sets that timeless tempo of sailboat on the ocean . Thanks again !
Your Julia yacht , Tuamotus and Dashew sailing yachts transocean passage making videos are superb. Thank you so much for presenting this. They are so wonderful.
Great stuff I liked la vagabond. This is far superior, it's like watching this old house of sailing.

Well done, good job with the video. Reminds me of the Fiji islands 1960 when I was nine years old.
I'm so grateful for these wonderful videos! I can't get over how beautifully done they are. We love watching your videos. It's so cool that you responded to another wooden boat owner about repairs! Such a good vibe throughout. Thank you!
Every single aspect of your videos is just supurb. The photography, music, dialog, etc is spot on! The only bad part is they end and leave you hungry for more. Wether you know it or not Polynesia is leaving a permanent mark on you that never goes away! On to Tahiti! Safe passage!
Beautiful photography of a beautiful part of the planet, visited with a beautiful wooden ship ; thank you.

Love what y’all do! As a old retired sailor ❤
What a joy, to watch your vids, they get better and better......hmmm...I`m dreaming of your boatlife in this great part of the world.
Watched a lot of sailing vids, you both are so natural and for me one of the best, big compliment!

The only channel where I watch each episode multiple times. The editing is probably the best I've seen, along with Sailing Florence.
Hear! Hear! Best sailing channel on YT. Wooden boats are so much more aesthetically pleasing. The narration is great: not pretentious and very informative. Every shot is a postcard
