Go to service every 10000 miles, oil from 2 months 2024 is 5w30, and belts are changed at 82.83 atmospheres at 80000 miles, and turbo 110.130 at 60000 miles, we learned that cars that drive longer distances wear a belt less - means the engine is fantastic. It is a lawsuit level of a bad engine, don't try and lie to us. It is a CRAP of an engine and PSA policy. WHY the phuck just not using a proven chain instead of this idiocy?
About to have mine done as per the 6 year service schedule. I’m being told the water pump doesn’t need to be replaced at the same time as the wet belt but I was under the impression that the WP should always be changed alongside the belt. Is this correct? Thanks
Look at the shape of the valve cover, there's a obvioes difference righ near the oil cap. The 6.2 is quite a bit bulkier. I have a late 2018 2008 and it's 6.3. Look at minute 1:37 vs 2:16. Hope it helps. Good luck

Just put a new belt on my car,thnx to this video was a big help. Did without timing tools but i do not recommend it. It was good that i marked it very well and used a piece of timing tool from the old 2008 version. Only 2 things were not easy. The under screw from vacuümpomp and the bolt from crank .that one was stuck like hell
have there been any improvements with the new belts that peugeot installed in 2021 and then 2023? or they give enormous risks and problems... essentially this problem of excessive early wear of the belt only concerns those in the 2012-2020 period or also those after?

Hi! I have a new Opel Mokka 2021 (New Mokka) with an engine EB2ADTD. I have a strange vibration in the cabin. The problem can be heard in this video (best from 8 sec): th-cam.com/users/shortsXROtr_3lFKM I have a suspicion that this has something to do with the timing belt or the accessory belt. When I turn off the engine, the vibration intensifies for 1-2 seconds and then stops. I think so because one of the Mokka owner's had a similar problem on a similar car (similar engine) and after replacing the belt all the sounds disappeared. My problem gets worse if I turn off the air conditioning (climate). If I turn it on, the sound is much quieter or there is no sound at all. The mileage is only 10,000 km and the car is 3 years old. Could this sound be the cause of problems with the timing belt, othe belt or rollers?

And do not forget to clean up the oilpan, otherwise you kill the whole engine due to belt crumples in the oilpump.
would be nice to inform that parts of the old belt is most possible stuck in the pick up strainer in the sump ... great video though
That is just the normal PSA belt change. Nothing more… just tell it your workshop. Psa would not pay for the work to clean everything up.

How do i know which engine i have withour removing valve cover. What years had the 6.2?
