Is the Shimbol a good alternative the the Black Magic Video Assist if you are on a tighter budget but want to be able to record once in a while for highlight reel?
Absolutely. The Shimbol would be ideal for that. The files it records to SD cards is high enough quality to use for final delivery to mobile devices imo. ✌🏻
The fan noise is quite loud for the first few seconds when booting up on the Shinobi, but after consistently quiet thereafter. There’s also settings to control the fan when needed if you need it to be quieter. ✌🏻
😂😂😂😂 the humor is killing meee
Does it cross convert the SDI/HDMI signal? For example I connect my camera with SDI in and output the signal to Hollyland transmitter with HDMI out.
Depending on if your camera supports it, it should.
@@Gustafilms_Official thanks. Do you know if the non-recorderd version (Shimbol M7) allows that feature too? I don't need the recorder feature.
M7 has HDMI AND SDI,too. Just can't record compared to Memory 7 Pro@@ghospod
Ordered the shimbol 7 for the recorder I have the shinobi I love it but needed a recorder

How's the fan noise on the Shinobi 7? Does it get very loud even on quiet mode?

@@Gustafilms_Official Thanks, despite being quiet, does the fan noise get picked up by the camera or microphone when filming?
