This would work for a single (or couple). Having the bedroom and the bathroom on different levels is not ideal, and there is a headroom problem at the top of the stairs. A turn at the top might help - or having a dormer. The kitchen counter space is limited, but a single would only need a two-burner cooktop and a single sink. There are no closets, but if the entry were a single door and the bulky couch were smaller, a small closet could fit in at the entry. A single bed upstairs would make space for clothing storage.
Although I love a wood stove for heat. Its placement in the home is dangerous should someone miss a step and fall onto it. Bathroom is too far from the sleeping area and involves stairs to get there is a deal breaker.
My first thought was about the fireplace, interesting placement. But the safety issues arise? I do like the layout very functional overall!
Get rid of the TV stand and TV, put wood stove there. Put in tub and shower combination. This would be
a nice floorplan then.❤❤😊
Quite nice. Why not use a spiral staircase?, it would take up less room. Would certainly make a lot of sense in these tiny designs.
