💕Beautiful work👼.... the word your looking for is textured, this is where on side of the paper is ridged or bumpy, while the other side will be considered smooth silky and shiny. thank you for sharing God bless you😇
I have been watching a few tutorials. I really like that you used a dry brush to minimize wrinkles and bubbles! AND that you show how it makes a difference which side you place facing down. Thanks!
I just now found your channel and subscribe. I have mod podge napkins before but never with the gorgeous results you show. Thank you for showing your process! I love your results! 🎀👄🎟🛍
OMG! That was awesome! I have a ton of those folders. I hated to throw them away! Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. I will be doing this project for sure! So easy! I love your videos. Also love your accent. I subscribed to your channel. Will be watching them all! You are very talented! Thank you again!
I am trying this on parchment paper and thus far it is curling up. So I am going to try aluminum foil next and see if that will take the mod podge. Thanks for the show on this I have watched this repeatedly, so I am sure that eventually I will like the results on mine. Your a wonderful teacher, thank you so much,
Hi, I have tried this technique but it curls up on me too. Have you tried the on aluminum paper? If so does it work? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you for this excellent tutorial Aristi! This is a great way to use up our napkins. Even the torn ones can be used as pretty little embellishments on a journal page. The hardest part is the waiting. It takes a long time to dry here in rainy Oregon! I will try this soon.
Thanks for the great video. I must try this now. I will try sticking the edge of the plastic to the work surface so it doesn't move when placing the napkin down. Thanks again.
I’ve been doing something similar with gel medium, but never with beautiful, saturated results like yours. Your method of placing the napkin’s good side down is brilliant! Makes such a difference. Thank you so much for sharing.
What a great idea and I always keep my second layer of napkin to stamp on so what a great way to customize your paper. I love how clear the end result is. TFS! I tried the Facebook Group link but it is not a good link.
That’s awesome Aristi!! I am making some tonight! I was hoping you had done a tutorial on this. I loved the one you did in my journal so this is so good to know. Thank you!!
I have made this before but not with the right side facing down on plastic. Your napkin came out nice and smooth and as you said bright. I love it and shall try it your way this time. Thank you for that. Could you show us how you use them please, I would be very interested in that. Thanks so much. Avril xx
thank you for your kind words Avril. you can make any type or size of envelopes or use it as a page in a gjournal or sew it as a pocket on a page . the same way that you would use vellum or glassine paper. i have very few napkins so its a bit hard to so many ways of use.
hello cindy. i guess if you uuse parchment paper you wont be able to remove the napkin from it. i guess. but any type of plastic like a used bag or glass or silicone mat would word. tfw
I've seen some people 'pull' the wrinkles out of the napkin by putting plastic wrap over the napkin to protect it and then bushing out the wrinkle (over the plastic wrap).
thank you Susan. i use wood glue. its white and drys clear. they are many brands out there , i get it from the hardware store in bucket very cheap. just choose a white one that drys crystal clear and not a yellow one. tfw
@@RainorShine1 i cannt tell you exactly. it has to do with your glue. it needs to be creamy enough so you can work with it without damaging the napkin , so not to watery not to thick. a texture like light yogurt .tfw
These are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing your technique! I'm going to try some of my own. What country are you from? I'm from Madison, Alabama, USA. Again, these are so beautiful and I already many napkins I'm going to try this on.
As I said Aristi, what you do is amazing and so beautiful but I could never do it. I don't have that kind of patience and have to see results immediately! Lol lol. I am very impatient with some things. Do you use any kind of napkins?
i am like that Jeannie so i do it before i go to bed that way i dont go every five min to see if its done lol. if u do iit on glass mat or a silicone mat u can use heat to speed the drying time.thank you for your kind words
