    The rule states that "Players shall not violently, dangerously or with anger hit, kick or throw a tennis ball, unless in the reasonable pursuit of a point."
    It looks more like a kick out of frustration, so technically regardless the ball hits the opponent or not, it does qualify for the definition of ball abuse.
    Sometimes the umpire would just give it a pass if it's not serious, but the ball did hit the opponent this time (though it's unitentionally), so the warning had to be given.
    If it was intentional and caused physical harm to the umpire, opponent or spectator, then it'd be an instant disqualification.

    @11:48 you need to negate even more momentum from the shot with your volley Felix. train to get your wrists to be more supple at the point of contact. see if you can get the ball to bounce at least twice with in the service box itself, taking time away from your opponent's response. @12:32 you have too much flight on your shots when directing at a volley player there. I would bring down the height of any hard knocks I am aiming for a player at the net. its just something I noticed when I play. bring the ball height down and their response usually ends up in the net, unless they have Pete Sampras like supple wrists.🤷‍♂

    • @zoechicken9445
      @zoechicken9445 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Let’s say there’s a tournament called the Grace Open. The Grace open, like every tournament, is held once a year. If a player is awarded 10 points for winning the Grace Open in 2023, he will have to “defend” his points in 2024. This means that if he looses in the first round of the Grace Open in 2024, he will loose those ten points. If he wins the Grace open in 2024, he will keep those points.
      This is why Alcaraz did not go up in the rankings after winning Wimbledon this year, because he was defending those points from the year prior.
      The rule is put in place to stop older players from staying way ahead of younger players in the rankings because you have to prove yourself every year.

    • @Tiziown
      @Tiziown หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      You defend the points you made that week, regardless of the tournament.

    • @amb1012
      @amb1012 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The points arent from tournaments, but from weeks. So in week (example) 21 of 2023 Felix won 3 points, he loses those 3 points after week 21 od 2024. Because there are many tournaments in 1 week, he can gain/lose points in different places each year.

    hey Felix, now that you got consistency to a certain degree in your game, you should try and incorporate some winning shots, where you can place the shot with a targeted speed, spin and precisely to a certain location on the court. along with that work on improving the force behind your shots. that will give you an edge when you are playing singles, and help you raise your singles rankings. work on that one shot, could be your first serve ace percentage(like Federer), a forehand winner down the line(like Nadal) or cross(like djoker), drop shot (like Holger rune). once you are able to nail those shots precisely when you want to, then mix them up into your rally. you are at the level in this sport where your high percentage winners will mean the difference between a win or a loss especially in singles. hope you improve this facet of your game as well bro. good luck, and God bless.🙏
