Your journal is extraordinarily lovely, thank you for sharing. Your creativity is remarkable; I've journaled for 50+ years (I'm in my 60s now) and don't journal by incorporating visual art, although I do use lots of colored inks, in alternation or simply variety. I also have never kept any kind of 'reading journal' -- been a bibliophile my entire life, averaging close to 100 books per year for most of my life, even when working FT in my younger years -- but recently started keeping a NON-fiction reading journal that I'm finding quite fun so your channel is inspirational. And I adore those waterfall pages -- may have to try that! Blessings!
Lovely journals. I have finally gotten out of a multi month reading slump and have decided that I'm going to start a reading journal (because I don't have enough journals as it is!). I'm trying it out in a Traveler's size, since I'm not sure how long I might keep up the habit, so you're videos have been very helpful for inspiration.
I enjoyed 'A Tempest of Tea' a lot! Also this was such a fun video to watch. It's a wonderful adventure to see what you read and how the pages were used.
Your reading journals are just beyond beautiful, so magical 🔮💕 I‘ve started using Storygraph for this year so I’m already pretty excited for my end of 2025 stats 😄
I love flip throughs!! Also I am trying out Peach and Mitsu ratings this month and so far it's been PERFECT! Slightly more objective than my usual vibes based ratings but still reflective at the end of my overall feeling for the rating of the book. Thank you!
"Ask for Andrea" was a book I picked up because of you and I'm SO glad I did! It was a 5 star for me, even in CAWPILE! Also, I've used PEACH system for 3 books now and it's working very well! The ratings it's returning feel very appropriate 😊
Im waiting on a bunch of stickers and washi tape to start my firstbreading journal and now we get our rare snow storm of the year so I bet my package doesnt get here but I supposed seeing some snow in Tennessee is worth it. My cats are looking outside and are flabbergasted. 😅
Thank you for sharing the flip through, I adore how your journal looks like it's so effortless. I'm using the Peach and Mitsu ratings as well this year, and so far they've corresponded nicely with what my gut rating would be. (I had made my own with my own cat Zarco but it felt wrong to switch out Mitsu lol)
📖✒💙 LOVE this so much. I decided in Fall of last year that this year 2025 I would create my own reading journal. Didn't want an already made one. I decorate my goals & gratitude journal & had been putting little notes about books that I really enjoyed in there; prompting the desire to have a journal just for that purpose.( also creating a journal for my classic movies & period pieces) this video was so inspiring. Thank you. Have a wonderful year filled with happy surprises. 💙📝📚📖✒💙
I am entirely uncritical when I rate books and last year most were either 5* or N/A (for books that I didn't think were meant to be rated). This year I'm just putting hearts, a star next to favorites and an OK hand for books that didn't really do anything for me. Already found a favorite with Sorcery and Small Magics!

I love that system!
man i HATE the name of the wind, and i will never miss a chance to tell someone that lmao.
I had to try again like 7 years after I bought it and got it read. Then I found out the series isn't finished anyway and probably won't be. 😅
